From what I saw they should be back. They showed how you can created emblems on a tablet and what not so I assume they'd be back. But ya, too many dongs.

For those that play the game a lot, these little changes make a big difference in actual gameplay. Obviously the formula hasn't changed but the tweaks make this a completely different game from BO2. Hopefully they just improve the connection issues, which to me are the worst part of the series.
seriously. Doesn't make any sense. COD has controls in the bag and that's the one thing they should not change.
Here's my issue with the article, and the "ghosts doesn't look next-gen" argument. I haven't seen one game coming at launch that looks next gen to me. The car games look ho hum (graphically), games that look great like Ryse, look like they won't be completely playable at those cinematic moments, and games like Battlefield looked good but with every new video I'm less and less impressed. BF is very stale, just like KZ, just like Halo. They keep the formula that works for them.

no no didn't you see, a building falls down......so, there's that? lol I totally agree, everyone complains and thinks COD should make a completely new game every year. WHY would you change the most popular formula? I think the additions look like a lot of fun, and that's whats most important, to me at least.
COD is just more fun. Might not be as complete a game, but it's more fun.
seriously, the BF series does the same $hit as COD, they have a slightly different game every year. Only difference is COD is more popular so it's easier to hate. The new gametypes and additions look like fun to me, nothing revolutionary but fun. And that's what I want.
this may be true, but BF is the "same" then too. Updated graphics, same gametypes, same animations, and finally getting on board with 60fps like other FPS.......so, whats the difference? The changes implemented are enough to make the game fun, at least for awhile until next COD. Same with BF, the changes aren't revolutionary from BF3 but they're enough for now.

So many trolls its unreal! Everyone calling for changes and saying BF4 is so much better, what exactly do you want? What can the most successful franchise really change without just making a different game? What #1 products have had a complete overhaul of how they function, ever? Look at the Iphone or iOS, it took 7 iterations to finally have big changes, and they were just to the look! If you've got a winner, you stick with it. Obviously COD needs to make changes/expand for next gen but ...
that may be true, but there hasn't been any major franchise that has it's main focus on MP that's drastically changed things year after year. Halo, BF..... pretty much the same every year. They make little tweaks here and there but nothing huge.

My main issues with the xbox were the drm used game stuff, and the price. Mostly the price. To be honest though, if I were to get an xbone it would be because of the kinect. It has some cool features and some potential to be a useful add-on, so I hope they don't come out with a kinect-less xbone, but that they do lower the price. I'm sure that won't happen (at least for awhile) but that would be ideal. That being said I've preordered a PS4 and am happy with that decision.
totally right. People don't have an answer they just want "change" Obama style. But if they did implement something the haters would just claim its been done before or it's not change enough. I think cod should stay cod and make the improvements it needs (ded servers, more diverse maps etc) and keep BF and other FPS's the way they are as well.
