you can't compare Destiny to traditional MMO's though, since at it's core it's an FPS. What FPS games give new armor and weapons for free? and hundreds of them no less? When I used to play CoD you'd get 3-4 weapons and 2-3 maps for $15...... Compared to that this is a steal! lol The collector's edition pricing is wrong, flat out, no defending it. I hope they address it. But as far as the $40 price tag for this expansion, I'm not complaining.
Only complaint I have is that the emphasis was on their "free" dlc and how amazing they were for doing so much for the gamer... lol and it's horse shit. The "free" stuff is gonna be a few outfits and cosmetics and anything worth while will be the paid stuff. I don't mind them charging for DLC, it's how it's done now. no they didn't. They specifically targeted other developers and said their dlc would be free. Just because they didn't specify what exactly would be free and what would be paid, doesn't make them truthful. They're the exact same as everyone else.

The amount of people still playing the game show that it's been and still is extremely successful. After a month no one was playing Watch Dogs or Titanfall. not sure why anyone cares about the story length at this point. We all know how the story will go and most probably won't even play it. Multiplayer is all that matters and they better fix it.

nah it's been like this for a long long time. Even games that aren't online or MP focused games have DLC now. Look at Shadow of Mordor! Can't even fight Sauron without buying DLC. Just know that it's here to stay and only buy it for the games you really like. Don't be so butthurt.
