Well it's the same number of polygons and the same textures i guess, it can't look much better. But the PS2 offers rumble.
This battle of exclusive lists is a bit pathetic.
But at last the 360 hopefully will have a hand full of exciting new games till the end of the year. Some are pre-alpha or almost finished.
Although the PS3 will have al lot of good games maybe next year or in two years. Don't forget delays are normal in the game business. But for now i see not much more than Heavenly Sword; Ninja Gaiden and Lair to be released in 2007 for sure (warhawk isn't even a full price game).

I like the idea of different fight styles. Was already nice in Jade Empire. Hopefully it's more important to chose the "right" style to have an additional tactical component.

Next year there will be some really interesting PS3 games available, i guess. Nowadays it has not one system seller for me.
This is really no big thing and not a benefit for the gameplay at all.
But God of War showed, how a action "videogame" should be. Maximum fun, perfect fast gameplay, challenging and almost fair from the beginning to the end. There are not so much games like this. Resident Evil 4 was equal, Prince of Persia has some frustrating moments.
I'll definitely buy God of War 2.

Sony made a big mistake with their hardware BC solution (development, layout, testing, the chips..). All for a selling period of 3 or 4 months. If they keep 2 versions in production its even worse. If it would not be important for the consumers the could have done it without hardware from the start. M$ increased their BC even lat...

It works well with Netscape but never with Opera, wich is a nice small and very fast browser...
This is one more good reason for me to wait for the slim line version of the PS3.

Everyone talks about the format war between HD-DVD and blueray. But both still aren't market leader. If i'll buy a PS3 then its just for gaming. Don't believe blueray / HD-DVD is already futureproof!
Just google for 'HD-VMD' as an example. It's cheaper and designed up to 100GB / disc.
