Good article, Mr. Falcon. It's thought out and LOGICAL, which is something that people here seem to be lacking in droves. Nice work!
"Sony Plays Catch Up
Pachter estimates Microsoft sank about a billion dollars into the effort and didn’t break even until it released its second console in 2005. Still, the early start, combined with exclusive games, means Sony won’t catch up with its PlayStation Network, he said.
“I was skeptical in ‘02 -- I thought it was stupid,” Pachter said of Xbox Live. Now, the service is driving gamers to Microsoft. “If your friends are all playing on Xbox, you g...
The writer is comparing PSN Plus AND PSN to XBox Live. And when Plus doesn't quite fit the bill, he defaults to PSN and says things are free, but not quite there yet and still gives it to PSN.
Gimme a break...
"DEMOS
PSN offers demos for some games already while Xbox LIVE offers demos for almost all retail games and require a free trial demo for any Xbox LIVE Arcade game whether you are a Gold or Silver subscriber. However, Silver subscribers have to wait a week before they get access to the demo and get no access to online multi-player demos.

Too bad they traded away Cassel. I think Tom Brady's awesome, but man, Cassel was throwing like a beast in the second half of the season.
Now he's with the Chiefs... :(
absolutely correct. people don't notice differences in picture quality after a certain point, or they simply don't care.
I think people base their experience primarily on the quality of movies in the theater which, quite honestly for most movies, is really sh!tty!
That's why bluray hasn't caught on. because people don't know any better.
Convenience is essential, but in the battle between streaming and disc, another huge factor is price. Honestly, I've been perfectly fine watching all these movies streaming on my netflix queue, although the quality may not be the highest.
But I'm only paying $8.95 a month for all the movies I could watch, whenever I want. People are quickly becoming spoiled with this convenience. My girlfriend wanted to go to the used dvd store to get a movie and I felt an incredible aversio...
I ordered a fresnel lens for my apartment when I was in college. said it would make my 12 inch tv into a 60 inch.
WHAT A CROCK OF SH!T!
Although this would be the best thing--like a Resident Evil Degeneration or Advent Children, it's not the Hollywood way...
...but me oh my, this looks like it's gonna be an over-the-top gore fest. I'm hoping it can elicit the same reaction as the most recent Rambo movie. I was cheering in the audience during that flick...
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Peter Molyneux designed the thing. He can bring it to Natal!!
REAL STRAIGHT MEN
that sucks. you must really really be in a bind to not afford $2.80 a month.
Bring Infamous Sigma to the 360.
How ironic...
Again. Sony hates people who say the word price drop. Every time someone reads that there COULD be a price drop, they make the decision to wait for it to happen before buying one.
So, yes, keep speculating and once it happens you can say, "I told you so!"
But in the meantime, realize that your speculation of this price drop is costing Sony sales.
The guy has a bunch of other videos of him and his friends trying it out. They have a blast!
