Why did Sony decide to turn the Game DEVELOPERS Conference into a penis measuring contest?
They just don't get it...it was for DEVELOPERS. Not the consumer. They managed to turn a perfectly legitimate convention for DEVELOPERS into a whorish advertising event.
Sony, can we talk about DEVELOPING? Not your kocksize? SANKS!
oh wait, you're not being SARCASTIC?
Totally funny!
...sooooo Microsoft showed a key component to their DEVELOPERS.
I can show off my Halloween costume at the company Christmas Party.
So does it suddenly turn into a Halloween Costume Competition?
Sony fanboys are looking for wins wherever they can justify em...

I can imagine that rumor of Microsoft dropping their prices again coming true.
Man that would be an ouchy

they can't afford a price cut.
microsoft on the other hand...
...despite awful ports.
That being said, didn't Kojima say last year or maybe two years ago that he would be interested in working with the 360 and that he felt it was a formidable piece of hardware?
The Metal Gear series is great, but I think it has a lost a bit of its flavor. It would be nice to see Kojima work on something new...but just as epic feeling
the argument is that "cheaply made games" will be better than invested games. I think there's certainly a place for both. unless apple can convince the gaming community that their ap publishers can produce a quality game that matches that of the DS (..maybe some games on the PSP), the iphone will always take a backseat for games.
seems like all Young is interested in is making a quick buck without any repercussions. nah, I admire companies that go out on a limb and...

...nonconstructive comments like these. I hate even more that people agree. Ah well just a bunch of kids on this site I guess...
the 360 has certainly sold the "casual gamers" that don't want to look like an idiot in front of the television.
the wii attracted a whole new demographic. the casual gamer, to me, is one that plays as casually as he does passively. as opposed to the party gamer (and yes, the wii is a socially based console) who is certainly more active in its application.
swinging my arms around, or acting like i'm hammering something, or acting like i'm wearing a hula...
you know those gamers that have lives and don't care about "exclusives."
Sony had that demographic with the PS2. They thought they could cash in by relying on their established fanbase and charging more for a console.
MS took advantage of that by making their system customizable (or seemingly so for the public)...
During the first and second generation of games, the 360 had easily established a firm base by having better reviews, more games ...
They should make a game that helps fanboys read N4G articles.
I love how defensive everyone's getting...the article is pro-Killzone, dummies.
i'm getting one
