I would nominate Agent 47 of the Hitman Series. HE'S badass and not in an overdone, "look at me, I'm such a badass" kinda way.
Also the epitome of badass for me is Akuma from Street Fighter 2.
Call of Duty games are next. They ALL GERMAN.

I'm so glad these old school Sierra games got some recognition. They really were the absolute best as far as forcing you to think outside the box.
...although I thought Kings Quest 4 was the best of the series, as was Quest for Glory 2. QFG4 was good, but damn that thing was buggy.

well every company is different. i work for a non-profit now and honestly, their needs could be met with XP for a while.
when I worked for a securities firm, though, they wanted all the newest software as soon as it was tested. so they'd mail me to Chicago to survey the the latest software and I'd get a steak and a free hotel for a few days.

I remember playing this as a boardgame. It was pretty amazing... the graphics here also look pretty darn good! I hope it's as immersive as oblivion... here's hoping for a miracle

It's not like Heavy Rain has been touted as a Mario World-esque game that appeals to those that do a majority of Christmas shoppers.
Indigo Prophecy has had a cult following for a reason: It's a game that is designed for a specific demographic--adult gamers. If anything, those are the gamers that will retreat into their shell during Q1 of 2010 to recoup losses from the holidays.
