This game was hyped like in '06 if I remember correctly...too bad for Sony.
4A's site still lists the game coming out during the 4th quarter of 2008. MS may have snatched it up since they last updated the site.

...I won't buy a game unless it has been generally well received by the public. I can't afford to buy games that I know nothing about. I wish I could, but if I've investing $60 in something I do my research first.
That being said, it has received some pretty ho-hum reviews.
Even Playstation Magazine UK gave it a 70/100. Aren't they supposed to be more supportive of hyped AAA exclusives like Afrika?
