I agree with everything. It's funny because even cod has alot of issues. So, if u r gonna compete with them (which u automatically do in a military Fps genre), u better bring it. And I mean bring it. Big budget, big engine, alot of testing, and alot of content. And the singleplayer better be really good. Because the first game will be a cult classic like borderlands and then u can begin competing with cod. Battlefield has done a brilliant job. I give homegrown credit for it's advertis...
Lol. They have a chance but like anything. They must stay ahead of the curve. After black ops 2, the mighty MW will be up and coinciding with next Gen. That will b a critical moment. Can they offer a true next Gen experience while battling Dice, mmofps giants, new management and fatigue? We will see.
I still think they should have built it running an android market. Had they done this, gamers everywhere would choose the vital over any tablet. Now many gamers must choose and tablets offer so much more. And really, other than young kids, and hardcore gamers, a mobile machine running triple A titles isn't appealing. Most people don't have time to play full fledged games on the go. But, if they had access to everything, then why not buy the vital.
Unreal engine 4! First and foremost, up the ante with the combat system. So, if it's a prequel with all these characters, Co op will happen. But we have to keep the open world. Maybe multiple cities that u can travel between. Just keep the core elements & anyway it doesn't matter because rocksteady is awesome!!!! And rocksteady is Ticketmaster on my smartphone text fill in.
It's a catch 22. Need new ips or new harpist but companies need cash or guaranteed revenue for next Gen. They will take a hit initially and with a shaky economy and increased competition, it is a big risk. They have to get it right and video games are only a part of what next Gen consoles will offer. Absolutely. To be honest, I am more worried everyday that consoles will b frightened to go to big because of the pricepoint. It has to have the capability to use luminous and UE4...mandatory.No one ever writes about the fact that there is a way to release a console for a good price but guarantee that it is able to keep up and even push technology. To me it's quite obvious. As mentioned above, it's a great entertainment center for cheap. But, most of all, it is an amazing outlet for aspiring app makers, game makers etc. Also, u can do whatever u want to it. Console games remain titles that sell at retail. Also, free 2 play works only for ongoing titles. Not sure if it would work for a game with a 12 hour campaign. It's worth trying for many titles though. Great revenue source, and a great way to sell consoles.

I agree. There will b a massive marketing campaign and hardcore gamers will have to have new consoles. But, I do worry about consoles ability to keep up now. If medium setting PC's out-tech consoles and the audience gets larger and larger, developers will shift their primary focus. It's always where the money is at.
My first thought was "what other work is she comparing this too?". Now I know. If they were hoping to evolve the female role in video games, her role on californication isn't gonna help. I just worry about what games will b like in the future if political correctness continues to spiral out of control. I agree that metacritic is fine. The issue is player reviews and bonuses being tied to scores. I do not look at just scores so I have no issue. I use it as a reference to c how sites or players reviewed and then I read it to find out exactly why it got a particular score. It's a great place to get a complete list. I ignore stupid 0's that try to make a point. As far as bonuses, can't do anything about it. Guess it's fine as long as player reviews are not included. I will admit...
I'm not a huge fps or halo fan bit for some reason, I am excited for this one. I think it's because I loved the first one & for the 1st x I a long time, a new story is beginning. Also, the online looks to be fresh and unique.
It's brilliant and it's only the beginning. It will most likely make money through advertising etc. But, it's open for everyone. At the very least, it will force the big boys to make better decisions.
I think dayZ is brilliant. And valve has proven that is ur mod idea is a great one and very popular, big companies may swoop in with a lucrative deal. Now, unfortunately valve is a rare company that doesn't take full control away from the Creator, so misdeeds have to b careful not to b blinded by dollar signs. Honestly, pc gamers may hate this, but this mod could b a very successful console game, as well as pc. I dunno, maybe it's already happened, but I hope dayZ gets slot of support...
It is a 10 & one of if not my favorite game ever. It has so many elements that blend perfectly.
I know. It's the new halo, a new trilogy, new world, new enemies and chiefs back. It's the game that built Xbox, of course it's the most exciting. What is there to compare it to? Though I will say that I am not a big halo or fps fan, but I am for this. I loved halo 1 & I am hoping they can tap into some of that magic.

No. But, it stays truer to RPG elements, IMO. The world doesn't level. The cap is 200. There's endgame content, a brilliant party system. The combat is better. The enemies are better. I thought I read somewhere that it was called red dead rxxxxxx, meaning some word with an r, and not rdr2. I only say this because it is telling as to whether it is a direct sequel or just another western.
