Crazy...never thought i would see the day that Canada had more freedom. This iant crazy either. This country is so absurd today that it barely resembles what it once was.
Yep. I hope they employed someone who knows what they are doing and had it tested extensively. Also, the smartest thing would be to allow ps3 controllers to work on it or sell one like it. The, if the new ones work welland are truely better ppl will get used to them. Otherwise, u can sink yourself. Especially in this day and age in which fps dominate. Maybe they added triggers and extended the length of the sticks. They can keep them parallel but close together. They must be light and fit wit...
I read that its stuff u get in game . If it is i am fine with it. I just hate when its stuff they coulda put in game as a reward and instead make u pay for it. If they wanna make money off ppl ghey dont wanna put the time in, then i dont care. Make money and make more games.
You know, at first hearing about this i thought, here we go again. Notonly do we pay $60 but theres micro transactions. I was kinda pissed. Then i remembered how they have always been there. I bought all the originals outfits etc. I would rather, though, that they had been in the game and i could earn them by doing something.
Now here me out. This idea is brilliant. Instead of forcing us to buy stuff that we can only get that way, they are selling it to ppl who dont want to ...
I may be crazy but for me it was halo 3 and dragon age origins on 360. Dont get me wrong, i fell in love with dragon age and its one of my fav all time games, but it took me awhile to grasp the fact that the creator of mass effect released this game afterwards. It was hard at first but the story and gameplay won out. I would love too see a remake next gen.
Lol. I do agree that it can be frustrating. Sometimes i feel like i gey every glitch. In their defense, it is not easy to get info back once it has been corrupted for whatever reason. That being said, i think many PR people are far behind in their techniques and practices. I actually went to school not too long ago for PR (well, it wasnt a major but was a big part of my study). Even then, twitter and facebook were not taught. Awareness of new social media has made even recent PR thought archa...
Gaming is changing. It is saturated with choices. I remember when i would always get a game like this day 1. I didnt even know it was coming out already. I just realized crysis 3 and metal gear rising are coming soon too. Wow...that was fast. I simply cannot keep up anymore. I am still on my second save for hardcore mode on dead space 2. I think its the emergence of rpgs last year that has me buried in titles i havnt finished. And now ni no kuni will have me busy until bioshock probably. And ...
This is actually a great review that just about sums it up. It is one of the best experiences that i have had bar none.
I am guessing that the gun violence issue is the biggest reason. They cannot afford to be the poster child for gun violence. It could have negative consequences for rocstar's earnings as well as the video game industry as a whole. It could get very ugly. Best to push and see.
While i agree with you and its seems stupid for us to be arguing about a great thing, Ni No Kuni could be a savior because of the console it released on, the companies involved, the exposure and the sheer quality. Persona Gold is great...and on the vita. Tales is in Japan...for now. Last story and xenoblade are on the wii. Fire emblem is a tactical jrpg...and there are upcoming games. But ni no kuni isdoing what FF should have done this gen...given us a beautiful hd jrpg experience. And if an...
Yeah but ppl have a point. First, they said ps3. Most those games came out on wii or ds or are coming. Many are strategy titles. Its kinda like saying that valkyria chronicles has 3 games, why is everyone bitching? Because its been years since its been on a console. Also, with the Final Fanatsy series moving so far away from the genre, and tales games releasing primarily in Japan, no one can say that the ps3 and xbox have been inundated with games like Ni No Kuni. Throw in its charm, and all ...
Wow...great article. this is the game that has been at the top of my list since it was announced. It looks so good, like its a step or 10 above everything else.
Very true. Its kinda interesting how they want to ban certain guns because they have attachments that make them look like other gunswhen in reality they are no different than most handguns.
I wont deny the fact that games have desensitized us to violence. But for some strange reason this desensitization doesnt change how normal ppl react to violence or violent situations. It may have an affect on children but they shouldnt be playing them. Also, why do only games get blamed? ...
I agree. Games are as dangerous as guns...neither are unless in the hands of a nutcase or criminal. Difference is that games cant be used to defend yourself from criminals. If u look at all the highest instances of gun violence, it is in gun free zones. Why is this? And yeah, i am sure games, just like movies and books can have negative consequences on certain ppl or underage children. Unfortunately when you attack guns, gun supporters are gonna point fingers everywhere else. For some reason...
I dont listen to them anyway. Most gamers know that it isnt true. Soon you will hear that crysis 3 maximized all console power and the experience is the same accross systems. But anyone with a good pc that buys crysis 3 for console is an idiot. At least they built crysis 3 for the oc instead of dumbing it down for consoles. Anyway, if u love kimnect controls, it is a good sell. Otherwise ppl are gonna buy it for the system they are most comfortable on, which they were gonna anyway. And i thin...
I agree. It was my favorite but ni no kuni may beat it. Not sure yet. It is funny how many of my favorite games ever are kn this list, including dragons dogma, my favoriye game of 2012. Now, we need anoth Valkyria, Dragons Dogma, Persona and Lost Odyssey.
Also, isnt it funny that FF decided this genre was dying so they began morphing into another generic, saturated genre. Why cant tbey see that what we want is old tradition jrpg updated. U can evolve without ditching everythi...
Even if it isnt, the orbis hype will be justified soon. Maybe they put it everywhere just to get ppl excited, even if it has nothing to do with said game. Its like subliminal messaging. And Gow Ascension is something to get hyped about. Playstation All Stars was marketed all wrong or the timing was off. I have noticed it is harder and harder with so many great games and next gen coming to create excitement for big releases. I remember a time, not too long ago that excitement would be unbeliev...
I agree and if rumors are true then they are ahead in production. And the ps3 is still marketable. Everyone is worried about backwards compatubility but i dont think ppl are gonna be selling these machines. They are entertainmemt boxes u can use anywhere.
What woulda been smart is to link the new to the old somehow so that the ps3 stays relevant. Also, many games may release on both. Its just a bad idea to let xbox get the jump. 1st, even if ur machine is better and u have b...
It should be called FF13: The Slow Death of the jrpg Part III. I am playing Ni No Kuni, a proper HD jrpg and it is awesome and it is selling well. So i dont understand why SE cannot figure out how to make a great modern rpg. Use an overworld with travel, summons, a great battle system, great story and post game or new game +, towns, leveling, equipment, and epic cutscenes in glorious hd with graphics like only they can do. It isnt that damn hard. Instead they oot to go in the opposite directi...
I got an idea. Instead they can rate it matute for adults. Then, adults can be responsible and parents can parent and we can enjoy it.
