Maybe this time he can get the frame rate over 20fps! Or find a game that plays as good as it looks!
Not only the bundle, but all of the TV advertising which is incoming will reinforce that as well. Sure, the game will play just fine on the XB1 (with reduced graphical detail), but the BEST experience will be on the PS4 (at least until the PC port comes out).
Doesn't matter. India isn't going to be a very large market for the Xbone anyway.
I didn't buy an X1 or the controller, but I played with the console on display at the local Fred Meyer. My impression was that it was MUCH LESS comfortable to use than the 360 controller. I also noticed that if you shook the controller, the triggers and/or bumper buttons actually rattled because they weren't tightly fitted!
The construction of the controller felt cheap to me. I also disliked the glossy finish on the triggers and bumpers...in short, it just didn'...
Oh, goodie. Now we get to argue about the quality of games none of us have ever played. Great!
#12. MS wants you to forget about this, and countless other articles that highlight their failures this generation.
It's a vicious cycle at this point. MS started it when they launched an underpowered console, continued it when they emphasized Kinect and TV over games, and perpetuated it with the failures this year.
At this point, even people who have no interest in games AT ALL are seeing negative news stories about the console!
This,...
Is this similar to Hollywood's accounting practices? Are they showing a loss on paper so they can screw creators out of their share of the profits? I can't see how they could sell 34 million copies of a game and come out in the red! Something is fishy at Take Two!
Catch up? This year? As in sell another 4 million consoles by the end of the year? Nope, not happening. If anything, sales will continue to slide as more and more people find that their friends are on PS4...not to mention the feedback loop the media is creating with story after story emphasizing that the Xbox One has lower performance, fewer games, and even some suggesting that it won't be long until it's killed off or sold!
It's done, folks. Sony won. The b...
It's not a big deal. Their support for this particular platform was lukewarm at best...and now they will have PS Now to take it's place.
I do hope they will continue to experiment with phone hardware though...I really liked the idea of dedicated game controls in a slider phone.
I typically won't pre-order games...no matter what DLC they throw in. If the game gets good reviews, I will pick it up. I am interested...Kevin Spacey hooked me...and the hoverbikes, mechs, exosuits and other futuristic gadgets have me intrigued. BUT...It has a LOT to make up for after "Ghost"! I won't put down money on a franchise that totally SUCKED last try out.
I will tune in to their show...should be good for a laugh. Seriously, unless they are announcing 15 GOOD games, Sony is going to wipe the floor with them at this show.
Here's the deal...if you strip off the franchise and all branding on the game, does it stand up on it's own? Is it fun to play? If the answer is no, then it's not the fault of "change" or gamers rejecting the franchise...you just made a shitty game. Go back and try again! (Activision, are you listening? EA?)
Nice that they won SOMETHING! Especially considering that those gorgeous graphics had frame rates in the TEENS...and they obviously weren't judging at all on gameplay. But hey, it looks REALLY nice if you just look at a static screen grab! Good job guys?
Hey, guys, while you are at it, why don't you review the Destiny beta? Or make plans to review the Evolve beta? Why don't you wait until the final product launches before rendering judgement!
I don't like the pricing right now...but if they offer a subscription service with a decent library of games at an affordable price, I am TOTALLY there!
I am also hoping that my past purchases on PSN will also be available to me with no additional charge. ...
Well, one thing that's changed is that MS no longer has the dominant position in ANY market...and their install base (of Xbox Ones) is considerably smaller than the install base they had with the 360 when Halo 3 and 4 were released.
Trust? What trust do they have left with the brand? The BEST thing MS could do would be to focus on PC gaming at this point.
EA games? NO THANKS! Screw that company, and it's games.
Nice! N4G gets top billing on the last one! :)
People need to get used to seeing this kind of sales disparity going forward...which is only going to make it harder for the X1 to attract developers. Death spiral confirmed...
This is becoming a trend. Titanfall was PC from the get go...Plants Vs. Zombies was only a timed exclusive (now coming to the PS4), now Ryse is going PC.
The X1 had few enough reasons to buy it before, now it has one less.
