Well, you can see the effect of this now, if you count the number of titles on each platform. PS4 has almost DOUBLE the number of games available RIGHT NOW over the XB1!
You can whine about "crappy indies" all you want guys...but there are more GOOD games on PS4 than XB1...and for those of you arguing that a flood of indie games=shovelware and that this devalues the consoles...go look at the AVERAGE metacritic scores for ALL Xbox One games vs ALL Playstation 4 game...
No one should be surprised by this. The "grey market" consoles have been available for a while...and not many are going to pay for the dubious privilege of having a locked down, DRM infested version of the same console! (SURPRISE! That horrible DRM scheme that MS was forced to back off from after their disastrous E3 presentation is baaaaack!) That's also IF you can get the average Chinese gamer away from their PCs long enough to even notice the console!

I can't for the life of me figure out why they are not bundling the Playstation TV with a DS4! I would rather buy the bare unit and add my own DS4 controller to it. More expensive? Sure...but not by much...and having a DS4 not only means better remote play with PS4, but superior game play on ALL titles.
I don't see how some people here read Ubisoft's comments and say "they didn't say they were downgrading". They are obviously ARTIFICIALLY capping the performance of the PS4 version to keep parity with the underpowered Xbox!

I don't have any doubt that Spencer supports PC and Xbox. The question is, will the rest of the company continue to dump millions down the drain?
I am not all that confident that Microsoft will continue to make gaming consoles in the near future. The Xbox could very well follow the Kin, UltimateTV, Windows Mobile, Zune and WebTV into the Halls of Irrelevant Products. We will see.

MS has been "in trouble" with the Xbox One in the UK since launch. The price cut is just them finally paying attention.
Sounds like the author is in denial. The PS4 is outselling the Xbone because it has better hardware, end of story. The games available are MOSTLY the same on both (but PS4 has DOUBLE the number of overall titles available)...but as the Sony tagline says, "the best place to play is on Playstation".

This is just the RETAILERS offering promos. Sony probably feels no need whatsoever to "counter" the official MS price drop at this time.
