The site hasn't "transformed" in anyway. People have been complaining, comparing and challenging these numbers since the 360 era, where this site ALWAYS untracked the PS3, and overstated the 360 numbers... Especially in the US and worldwide. The NPD and released numbers from the manufactures themselves also confirm this.

Fact remains... The UK and the US are the closest market when looking at PS4 and XBONE.... However, the US numbers are grossly incorrect, showing the latter outselling, when the NPDs say something completely different.

What the graph shows is constant demand for both consoles, with the Wii U curve straightening. Not good for Nintendo.
What is key here is how supply constrained the PS4 was, yet sales were still higher than the Wii. If we assume that demand will drop off, then this must be for both consoles... Keeping things consistent and fair. However looking at demand, this is heavily influenced by price and supply.

The reason your analysis is irrelevant is because it doesn't matter if the Xbone is outpacing the 360, it's still way behind the PS4, including countries where both consoles were launched in. MS chose to flood the US, and are STILL behind... In their home market, with their biggest game!
If you want to compare last gen... The PS3 came out a full year later and still so...

I saw this blog a few days ago. Just one post ever in it's lifetime. It showed up on the VG Charts forum. I believe someone on that site actually may have created it! Sounds more like a wish list than a leak.

VG chartz have adjusted their numbers upwards every time Sony has announced their numbers. If I'm not mistaken this was circa 500k already. A pretty huge gap.
Just last week and this week, both numbers for XBONE and PS3 went up by 100k. This suggests both are selling at the same rate. Yet their weeklies show the PS4 outselling by a 2:1 ratio worldwide.
I use VGC because it's really the only thing with weekly estimates. But I never quote their numbe...

Every numbers article published here you guys talk about TitanFall. Fact remains... In Europe MS is getting crushed. They need to do something drastic to truly make a dent and become a worldwide console.
