There must always be at least one review that's below par. Anyway to each his own.
The long load times is actually such a poor reason to reduce a games overall score. Does anyone remember Skyrim or the first ME? All great games with long load times... but this didn't cause a lower review.
First of all this game may be in the same genre but it's not a rehash (like COD). Movement, story, setting, gameplay mechanics, bosses... so many other things are new and different from the Souls games.
COD has been the same copy and paste game for the list 5 years (or more).

A price cut would really put the nail in the coffin in the US and UK. The PS4 is already dominant everywhere else. Imagine the XB1 is cheaper and still selling less in its most dominant markets? Unreal.
I am sure over the holidays MS will bundle TR, FH2, or Halo 5... Or COD, AC, maybe the Division?... One or more of these for $249, essentially brining the XB1 to $299, with heavy marketing. MS will most likely win in Nov and Dec again, but lose the next 10 months. If Sony lo...

This is a big loss to 2015. Yes the game will be better for it, and its ND so no doubt this will be another top notch and award winning game.
It's not the first time that Sony didn't pad the holiday season. they release exclusive games through out the year. A look at at previous gens would show that third party games like COD, BF, AC etc dominate the holidays.
MS releases no tripple A in the first half of the year, so XB1 only owners talk about Or...

Wow... its amazing how Sony's titles are played down... any exclusive that isn't tripple A is just disregarded by XB1 owners. Yet I see A LOT of talk about Ori and Scream ride. MS may have tripple As during the holiday, but what is there from Jan-Aug?
Indies and PC titles only matter when its on Xbox.
Actually it will make the franchise better. EA/Respawn can re-invest the money back into the IP, making it even better and bigger. The money made from the multi platform sales that is.
If the XB1 has dedicated servers and the PS4 doesn't, at least people have a choice to get either one.
Wow.. that was quick... VG Chartz updating to 20.2 million to match Sony's numbers, when they were actually 600k off. The XB1 really isn't doing well in Europe. Outside the UK its roughly 4:1 in favour of the PS4.
This game will look and perform better without a last gen version. I hope there is a campaign and bigger multiplayer.
I honestly believe this is the case... TR will sell on XB1 while UC4 sells on PS4... they would not have been competing with each other. This was good for Square as they ould get an influx of captial (from MS) and less competion. MS benefits as the game would sell some XB1s over the holidays.
If this deal was 6 months in length or even a year then UC4 and TR will still be out in the same year. Kind of defeats the purpose of the whole timed deal.

To say that they are not concerned about the holidays is quite naive I think. Sony has a big worldwide lead, and doing extremely well even though the console is now priced higher. People want the PS4.
However, Sony knows that MS is close in the US. A big market for both and where a lot of the exclusive marketing deals and content deals seem to matter most in terms of hardware and software sales. It's the time of year when people buy consoles and games in abundance. The ...
Hmmmm... So Uncharted vs Tomb Raider isn't happening... or the way Square wanted it to. Because both games were meant to be released in the Holiday window it made sense to hold back TR on the PS4 and get some money for doing so. TR in 2016 and UC4 the same year on PS4... depending on the duration of course.
Wonder what Sony's big exclusive will be for the holidays then? I don't think any of the first party announcements would be for a 2015 release. MS currently ...

The game is working now... however, it hasn't been fixed since December. Just recently there was an article about the game still have issues 100 days after launch. Both sides calm down. Try the game.

You won't be playing this game because it's an Indie. Indie games only count when it's on XB1... like Ori and Cuphead. Transistor, Octodad, Resogun etc are Indie games or timed exclsuives and shouldn't be included in the ...

Quantum Break and Scalebound are the only things that are actually new. Let's see how much time is spent on COD and AC.
