As said above... Bigger doesn't mean better or more. Look at the XB1 it's certainly bigger... Is it better? I'll leave that one there.
MS must bring the big guns to stay in the media reports as there are no significant releases in the first 6 months. You can bet that from Sept-Dec they will ramp things up again in the usual way... Marketing push with AC bundles, COD, Halo, Fables and QB.

The variety on the Playstation Ecosystem is still unmatched. Almost every year we have been getting the same games from MS... Halo/Forza, Fables/Gears... Rinse and repeat for the last 6 years. At least at the beginning of this gen they are trying to bring new IPs. I am genuinely excited for QB and Ori.

After AC1 and AC2 I didnt touch the franchise again until AC:BF. After COD:MW2 and World at War I haven't went back to the franchise since.
I get sports games every 2-3 years, if at all. I don't support annual relases.
A new Call of Duty... but nothing really new in Call of Duty. This game needs a three year break.

Annual releases = milk for money. Regardless of the game being finished. Very little improvments and no innovation.

And how "next gen" are the competitors? Sony still has the most powerful gen console. It not only runs multiplats better but has more exclusive games and studios which will continue to offer quality throughout this gen

What Sony needs to do is stop making their phones exclusives to only TMobile in the US. The only other way to get the phones are sim free. A lot of people want contracts but not TMobile. They need to open this to more consumers. Their phones are awesome too. Espeically the Z3 line.
Not to bag on about phones, but they iterate too fast... the Z1 and Z3 had 8 months between ...
Dont really understand the disagrees, but whatever... I have 2 at the moment. A launch 60 gb and a slim 250gb. I have 2 PS4s as well. May trade one in for a slimmer version in the future. I think there should be a price cut, which will boost sales even more.
Same here for the PS2 games. I have a launch PS3 and a slim. the launch is backwards compatible. Not to mention some Xbox and gamecube games, as well some old school NES etc.

I think the demand for the PS3 is still there... especially if there is a price cut looming. Its a great Media player with bluray and has some great games. There are also several exclusives still to come out for the system.
I see a price cut this year, with maybe a much bigger decline in production at the end of 2015. That will be the 10 year lifecycle for the PS3. I will miss this console. But hey the PS4 is so much better and has a long way to go.
