Why do people always talk with such certainty? "Game X will never come to console B" People say this sh1t all the time and then guess what, game X comes to console B. It's too early to tell if SC is going to the PS3 and just because somebody says so, doesn't make it so.
I know you guys are flabbergasted over how I said the holiday season is not crowded, but think. Out of all those games you listed, which ones are going to do the best? The answer is MW2, AC2, ODST, U2, Beatles Rockband, maybe Forza.
Those are the games that are going to dominate this holiday, imo. The rest are there, but they will not do as well as these games will. Why is that so hard to understand? I'm not saying that SC was delayed to make it Multiplat, just that the argume...
you call one console inferior to another. Yeah, that's flaming.
EDIT: You buy a console because of the exclusives. The overall package plays a part but you don't pick up a console because it has miltiplats you can get anywhere, you get it because it has exclusives you can't get anywhere else. Or you get whatever mommy and daddy buy you.
I think it was... no, no. Not that one. Well, there was that on... Nope that was multi too. Oh, I know none.
Maybe that's because it sounds better than, "They gave us a giant assload of money to keep it exclusive, for now, at least."
Also why would Ubisoft be doing that when Sony and the playstation brand has done so much more for so many more franchises? And yet still other developers and publishers go multiplatform because they like to make money.
Businesses do not give up money that they could make unless there is money already in hand.
First of all, those games are first party, not third party. Second, what crowded holiday season. All that's left is AC2, MW2, Uncharted 2 and ODST pretty much. It is not over-crowded anymore.
EDIT: @ Muderdolls:
Wolfenstein - 8/18
Marvel Ulimate Alliance 2 - 9/8
Halo 3: ODST - 9/22
Uncharted 2 - 10/13
Brutal Legend - 10/13
Dragon Age:Origins - 10/20
Forza 3 - 10/30
Assassin's Creed 2 - 11/17
Left 4 D...
Why are you so excited to play with a 10-year-old boy and wave your arms around like a jackass? Pedo alert.
If it does go multi, and I think it will eventually, it will probably be like Bioshock with some added crap to appease PS3 fans for having to wait. In all likelihood, it will come to the PS3 because games are getting too expensive to only release on one console. It's just the way it is. I do wonder though how long MS can keep throwing money at publishers for timed exclusivity or exclusive content. That sh1t has got to be expensive.
Isn't this exactly what it it, or are you being sarcastic?
And isn't that what most CoD heads want anyway: a suped-up version of 4?
It tells us that IW is the true CoD developers and that it's going to be be pretty much a tweaked version of CoD4 MP. If you liked it, you'll think it's awesome. If you didn't, this probably won't change your mind. Also, the AC-130 looks like it's going to be pretty cheap unless there is some huge blancing going on.
Since I can't comment in the gamer zone. This article is going to get slammed by retarded fanboys arguing back and forth to no avail.
This guy (the author) is a complete moron. If he really thinks that people are waiting for the cheap ass NVGs, then I pity him. We might as well outlaw alchol, tobacco, firearms, sex, pens, bubble wrap, power tools, hello kitty stickers and anything else that could be used for mischeif. Also, those NVGs are going to work like sh!t. And since they appear to be a single lens variety, most people won't be able to use them effectively because those types of NVGs severly reduce depth perception.
They worry about the transmission capabilities because of espionage, not detonation. There is only one way to get a nuclear detonation and some asshat playing his PSP is not going to set one off. It could detonate explosives if the detonators are attached to receivers, but there wouldn't be a nuclear explosion.
1. I think you mean gauntlet.
2. That has been Sony's plan from the beginning and has been since they started 14 years ago.
But that isn't really what MS is known for: supporting older products when newer products have been released. They may offer some token support, but the main thrust of the "support" would be to get people to upgrade.
If they are saying they're less than halfway through, then they are looking at a 10-12 year lifecycle. HMMMMM, where have I heard that before? Also, it makes it look like they're are pinning all their hopes on Natal to keep up momentum till they decide to...
I like how they specify that it's the Wii version, as opposed to MadWorld PS3 or 360.
