This video is awesome! I love the way he reads his little speech. You can watch his eyes dart back and forth and still you can barely understand him. This is some high-quality production here.
On topic: People feel the need to justify themselves to others. It stems from their lack of being comfortable with themselves. Also, the media feeds the bullshit by overhyping the language they use when they "report" on happenings in the industry. They make everything out to be ...
Funny how people disagree that price is the only thing holding the PS3 back.
EDIT: below Then what else is holding te PS3 back? Irrational hate?
Because maybe the PS fan base isn't made up of people who like only the same games over and over. The strength of the Playstation has never been one or two games, unlike the Xbox. Even after all this time and all the franchises MS "stole" the 360 is still just a Halo and Gears player. Not something to be proud of.
EDIT below: No he wouldn't. 360 fanboys would be just as pissy becasue you can't call one great and the other dogshit without pissing someone off. Just bec...
It's the beer commercial mentality. Beer commercials always have really hot chicks in them implying that if you buy that beer you can get hot chicks, or maybe it's a comment on beer goggles but commercials usually aren't that clever. The panties, besides being a novelty item are always posted to imply that there is somehow sex with girls involved with the story and that if you own a 360 you will be able to unlock that achievement.
Wow. Another article turned into "my dik is bigger than your dik". Didn't see that one coming.
Even if everyone who buys this game buys it 100 times, it's still not going to happen.
People need to learn the difference between UPC and Proof of purchase. The UPC stands for Universal Product Code and is the same for every copy of any game. The Proof of purchase tabs that are in the game are unique and therefore can be tracked and locked out after use.
All the contributors should lose some status for approving this when there are so many obvious things wrong with this article. The title is misspelled. The link should go to the translated page, not the original. Also, it's a full size PS3. Only an idiot can think that it's slim when the video comes behind the unit you can clearly see that it's a full size PS3.
I guess you didn't see that it's translated?
Actually, people already have. Look at WoW. And Rockband and Guitar Hero 37. Funnily enough, all of these games are (now) from Activision.
EDIT: Can't forget WiiSports. People have been paying $250+ to play that game.
You're missing the point. Those are all high profile games that would hurt the 360 to not have. This article seems to be saying that MS is going to let all developers do this, not just allow the high profile games to do this.
No. Because even sh1t sometimes floats to the top for a while. Then somebody flushes it down and it goes where it belongs. I've never seen the sh1t actually call out to be flushed like Activision's been doing lately. They really need to take a lesson from Sony and EA on the effects of hubris on your place in the games world.
But they were upscaled, at least I thought they were. It seems like MS is opening the floodgates and allowing any developer to do this instead of only allowing the high-profile games to get away with this..
You gotta love the "We have no statement" statement. It is totally not a complete waste of time.
Because the 360 is cheaper. And it's retarded to as the second most expensive console to lower it's price instead of asking the most expensive.
Actually, if the slim does come out a price cut is likely as: 1. It helps build and sustain the momentum created by the new hardware; and 2. Hardware gets smaller because the parts are smaller and the number of parts is reduced. Smaller parts take less raw resources to manufacture and are therefore cheaper. Fewer parts and cheaper remaining parts means the cost to manufacture the PS3 comes down and in an interest to boost sales, Sony will lower the price without adversely affecting profitabil...
I don't think he meant that there weren't any calls of bullshit on those games, just that the article is retarded for implying that it's only PSN that these issues. Or maybe he is, who knows? I personally think this whole article is retarded, you expect an online game to have some issues, especially this generation. I don't think very many, if any, games have come out in the last few years that didn't have some fvck up at launch that needed to be fixed.
Wow, who would have thought that a game that is played online is going to have some day 1 hiccups? Good thing I read this article otherwise I would never have known. Now if only I could find my "Sky is Blur, Grass is Green, Water is Wet" article and I can has the common sense again.
Also, it doesn't seem like too many people are having a problem or a real site would have reported it.
The author of this article is a moron. These didn't sneak past censors. The ERSB either knew about them or, as in the case of hot coffee, found out about it and slapped it with the "appropriate rating. Sneaking something past is making something look or sound innocuous when in reality it is dirty.
This is not a good list. Several points are just copy pasted from the 360 list.
It will be funny to see if all the 360 fanboys will be able to resist coming into this thread and crapping all over it like they claim only the PS3 fanboys do.
