well i do enjoy resident evil 4, but i am not a huge doom fan. I think oblivion is the most fun ive had on the single player portion of a FPS. Obviously its my opinion, but i enjoy games that can take 50+ or 100+ hours. I think most games are way to short. I also think the melee sword and shield aspect of oblivion was a nice change. But anyways...Doom and resident evil are great games..but they werent perfect and not everyone likes them. So still i cant imagine this game offering everything y...

There is nothing wrong with this game being in the run for game of the year, but i wouldnt just write off everything else. There is still a ton of games coming out for both consoles and the pc. I do however feel this game is a little overrated...just a litte. I am fine with a high 8 or low 9. But a 9.9 or 10 is ridiculous. the only differences that matter are the differences that can make you enjoy a game or not. load times and game speed probably matter more than shadows and the number of blades of grass. you can look at these screenshots all you want and youll never learn anything about how the game plays. It might look great but play like sh!t or it might look like sh!t and play great.so if you have a 360 and enjoy your dirt game..great...and if you have a ps3 and enjoy your demo....great. if you are uncerta...

It should be left at that. i wish every dev approached multiplatform games the way this guy did. the best thing is that graw 3 will have a ps3 scheme and a 360 scheme to work from. so they will have shorter dev times and more focus on optimizations of each game. and no more excuses of porting.
ive tried writing a long drawn out response to you omnihilium and it was quite good...but i couldnt say all i wanted so ill be simple. The majority consumer is uninformed (read:stupid). I dont want the majority who doesnt really care about games deciding what is out there on the market. And that is what is happening in this generation of consoles. The friggin Wii is going to take the power from the true gamer and give it to the casual gamer. That should be depressing to the informed minority....
well there is more ps3s and 360s compared to wiis. And most of the wiis out there are owned by those ps3 and 360 owners. So I think that means people want the full package. And if anything Nintendo is about telling you what you want and not listening to what you want. People want harddrives and an online community at a cheap price. thats some good info, but you dont realize that comparing the ps3 and the 360 is like comparing boys and girls peeing. They both pee, just in a different method. EA optimized 360 madden and not ps3 madden. I agree they probably had an easier time optimizing 360 version. And who would expect a madden optimized for the 360 to run at 60 fps on ps3? Next came the DVD and the online community. Sony and MS kept up with the trends and Nintendo left off...

thats for tax purposes in europe. There is a huge tax on game consoles, so they prove that it can be used as a computer via linux and they dont have to pay the tax.

I'm shocked with all the level-headed responses. This game hasnt even come out and im sick of people sucking its f-ing d!ck. Its not perfect and its not the best game ever. It will be like any other great game thats come out.
