well firstknight halo 3 and bioshock came out 2 years after the 360 launched. so that means ps3 has 14 more months to give you an answer.
i will say that i have a coworker who is a 360boy and he admits to being interested in buying a ps3 for lbp. but i could have made this prediction. it is a pretty cool looking game. this doesnt make me think any better of pachter. hes still a dumb@ss.

it sounds to me like its just another way to control people. one person gets assaulted in a country of a billion and now you have to verify youre a girl on a game. How much is all that going to cost. if the needs of many outweighed the needs of one they would ignore this and use the money its going to cost to set up this program to feed some people or get more police.

i agree that b is too slow for mulitplayer but g has more than enough speed to run any game.
madden on 360 was messed up as well. but i will say that other departments of ea arent THAT bad, just ea sports. Its monopolistic grasp on sports licenses has turned into a nightmare of bland recycled gameplay year after year. some good properties are the sims, some need for speeds, medal of honor, and battlefield.

some 360 models didnt have hdmi out until a month ago and i would say most people still dont own an hd tv so its not a big deal. plus they cost like 10-15 bucks. and headsets from the ps2 can be used on the ps3 or you can use a cell phone headset or buy warhawk and it comes with one. i would much rather have wi-fi built in than get some hdmi cables.

online gaming has been main stream for longer than halo. considering the popularity with counterstrike and warcraft. the only credit halo gets is for being one of the first big CONSOLE online games. But i still dont even get the Halo phenomenon considering halo 1 sold about 6.7mil and halo 2 sold 8.6mil...theres 150m plus gamers in the world and there were like 24 million xbox consoles...im not wowed. The grand theft auto, gran turismo, and mario series blow away halo series (edit) in sales)....
how could you not know that there was going to be a rumble ps3 controller. Everyone has been predicting it since before e3. And what is their excuse for not bringing online to ps3 via downloadable content. If namco can do it so can these guys. I hope everyone at Sega isnt as out of touch with reality as these two guys.
how could the race be over by 2010. who wants another console in that amount of time. the industy and the consumer cannot handle a new generation of conoles every 4-5 years. its too expensive for consumers and devs take a while to make games and push systems to their limits. this console war is messed up because ms needs another console by 2010 to keep up with bluray and the ps3. thats not going to work out well for them.

mac is only more proprietary because windows owns the market. noone makes software for it becasue fewer people use it. so they make their own stuff. a part of me thinks eu is hammering MS because its american but a part of me realizes that MS really has stunted the growth of computer technology. I mean linux is too advanced for my wife to use and it doesnt have support for a lot of things she likes to do. rumble is being added because MS uses rumble as a selling point. So sony is putting it back in to take away that supposed advantage. And rumble can be a useful feature for games. Also saying it was last gen was just how they put a positive spin on a bad situation (which every company does). They had to resolve the lawsuit to get permission to do rumble and the extra time is probably going to pay off. this is going to be a pretty advanced rumble system. And as for missing it...i cant remember ...
