making it come with a drive guarantees to devs the standards for making a game. They know that everyone can support hdd loading on the ps3. Now what they could do is let you build your own online by choosing the drive size and pricing it appropriately. Bottom line is you have to have a hdd for ps3.

i think the hate on wii would stop if they compared it to the ps2 instead of the ps3/360. or just didnt compare it to anything at all and realize it doesnt really compete directly in any market.

i find wii sales comparison to 360 or ps3 about as relevant as ds sales to 360 or ps3 sales. ps3 hasnt sold big becasue ps2 is still supported by sony and devs. once they pull the ps2's plug, then people will go out and buy their ps3s. xbox 360 sales are so high because original xbox owners got their support pulled and were forced to buy a new console to get any new games.
This SKU is a disgrace to the industry. Drop the harddrive less skus so devs can create games to a higher standard.
