Yes I totally agree with you. For them the only competition is themselves. I like Forza 2 as well, its a very good game, but its no where near as good as GT5;)

Well for ps3 console owner it won't matter, because they won't be buying a 360 just to play the DLC. Similarly the 360 owners will not be buying a ps3 for GTA4 as well. The multiconsole owners will go either way. Those who love XBOX Live and achievements will definitely get the 360 version while those who care less about it, they will probably get the ps3 version. If you think killzone2, socom, haze, resistance2 all are generic shooters, then what are Halo3, Gears of War 1 & 2, I mean you can bash all you want but both consoles have great exclusive titles, what 360 is lacking right now is quality first party titles, which they don't have any. For me Character Animation is what makes or breaks graphics. Too Human is one example, the game looks superb but the animation system is too jerky. Damn can't wait for MGS4:P
Well I don't think Halo 3 was rushed. Infact Microsoft wanted it to release along side PS3 european launch but it didn't. There are two main reasons Halo3 graphics were below par 1). They decided to modify there existing Halo engine made for xbox rather then building one from ground up for Halo3 on the 360. 2). Level of details was implied on the wrong places. I think we all agree Ted Price is a nice guy and when he was talking about the Graphical fidelity and was talking about the leap from Ratchet & Clank to R2. I was quite skeptical. I thought well we will see & i think we all agree the leap from Ratchet to R2 is almost as big as a leap from R1 to Ratchet. Just wait for E3 when we will see the final technical specification. My bet is 60fps 1080p, 7.1 surround sound support. After all its a 50GB game.
Lets just for one sec. we assume the game is 12 hours long + you have 8 players coop, plus you have 60 player multiplayer. Name one FPS game that has more content then this. Too bad its coming in the same year as MGS4 otherwise it would have been GAME OF THE YEAR.
Secondly people are talking about Gears2 this Gears2 that. A). We haven't seen any footage, all we saw was a tech demo (that looked slightly better the Gears1) and a bunch of mag scans based on that you are bashing R2.

Everyone has the right for having his/her opinion. But if you hate this game so much, why did you saw the trailer at first place. I loved Halo3's gameplay but its graphics sucks big time.
Yeah Killzone2 looks better, but compare the scale mate;) The footage of Killzone 2 we saw was nowhere near this scale;) I mean both will be great games, but Sony isn't jumping up and down after resistance 2 for nothing. They know they have something thats why they are putting it up against Gears of War.;)

OMG, that was amazing, the footage only 5 sec. but that was the most amazing 5 sec. I am pretty sure that was ingame footage. Insomniac didn't used CG cutscenes for Resistance1 or Ratchet & Clank. Well Sony said it is a 50gb game. It will be exciting to see the technical specification of this game, like is it 60fps, 1080p or 720p. Lets hope for the best. June 13, we are gonna see some proper footage :D

I love Halo3, i like it, but come on 9.5 there were quite a few flaws for it to be given such high ratings.
