I have bought a ps3 version on ebay, but that will arrive in I don't may be 7-10 days, can't wait that long to play GTA4:(
So when the ps3 version arrives it will be primarily for multiplayer and somewhat singleplayer. While the 360 version will be for DLC+ singleplayer;)
Totally agree. Secondly many countries doesn't even have that kind of infrastructure setup that you can use for digital downloads. So they are saying we will have to buy a separate HDD, then we should have super fast internet to download from as well. So who is getting more expensive now?
Its just speculation. It will be interesting to see what do we get for DLC. I preordered mine for the 360, so I can play it on day 1. But I will be getting a ps3 version later on because of the dumb Aussie govt. censoring gta4.:(
Its not dead, far from it. We will see good games like Gears2, Too Human, Alan Awake, Ninja Gaiden2, fable2, Splinter Cell Conviction and many others. I hate EA. Seriously they are gonna screw the franchise. They are gonna make us pay extra money just for drunk driving etc. I swear to god if EA delays the game, I will never buy another EA game ever. (Except for GTA4)

I keep asking myself why does this game looks more appealing to eye then any other game. Sure gears of war had a gritty look, uncharted had a great, clean look. The character models in both games were good, so were the good in Killzone 2. But what makes this game look soo good. One reason I guess is that this game uses high-res textures through and through. Its the best game on PSP. No question about it.
Now I own both console. For me I love my 360 for multiplatform games as well great exclusives like BioShock, Gears of War, Mass Effect & Halo 3. I never ever tried to play any of these games online for two simple reasons: 1) I refuse to pay even a penny more, for something that should be free, I bought a 360 and i pay a 100 aussie $ and after that I am not gonna spend any more just to play online.

Well I didn't say Half-Life 2 had a great story. The story was good but its narrative structure is still considered as one of the best. Resistance 2 narrative structure will be like half-life 2;)
I agree with you on the story telling part. They have promised that there will be more emphasis on story then the previous game as well as the narrative will also be in first person, like Half-Life 2. The game will be a technical achievement on consoles, if they deliver on the promises. We all know that Insomniac always delivers on there promise. First one started off to a really slow start and then gained the momentum almost halfway through, this one is said to start with a bang;)

I don't see Digital Downloads to take over the disc format in the next 3-4 years and there are quite a few reasons to it. The most primary one is bandwidth and data size. We are still far away when one will have 50-60 terabytes of disk space and 20-30 MBPS connections and even when we will have it, I think a storage medium other then hard drive is always necessary. Why does every game has to be someones killer? I mean why can't we have more games in one genre & I guess we don't have many games in Open World genre in the first place. So its good if we have more games. Competition is always healthy for gaming industry & its always better then just having 1 game & playing it to death.

I hardly doubt that this petition will solve anything. Rather than cracking down on parent that let there children to play mature games, they are stopping us adults from enjoying a game. Everything has a right age and time, i agree but this is just BS.
