I think this feature is not really about GT5 but about Playstation Eye, sony wants to push as much Playstation Eye cameras as possible, so when the motion controller finally arrives alot more people adopt to them as they already have the camera. In that sense they are trying to mitigate the initial cost of entry for Sony's motion controller. Lets see how much successful this strategy will be.
Its the same issue with every open world game Ubisoft has released in this gen. Great graphics and beautiful sandbox world but nothing to do in it. Yes i am looking at you AC, PoP and FC2.
Plus far cry 2 could have been released under any name, it had nothing to do with original far cry or anything. The game bored me to death.

I had some hiccups while playing Killzone 2 last night, it use to stutter a bit before but this time it was a bit longer than usual & it was quite frequent whenever it tried to save to hard drive. I am pretty sure we will see a fix pretty soon.
I have a 46" LCD TV connected to my PC via HDMI & I sit on the sofa and play, just like everyone else. LOL @ Console fanboys.

Sony can keep there backward compatability now to themselves. The only two games I wanted to play were GOW 1 & 2. I am pretty sure there will be a remastered version of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus now. The only other big franchise left is MGS and that is not in Sony's hand. So sony did what fans wanted. i was very upset when i heard ffxiii is going multiplatform, i was really really angry, but now i just don't care. i am not a huge jrpg fan but i always consider and relate FF to be sony's franchise and thats how it will always remain in my heart.

I am still waiting for the pc version of this game. I played the demo on pc. It is the best looking Unreal game so far. I guess masseffect 2 will probably top it, but the character models in batman AA are insane.

As much as I love Heavy Rain, you can't really compare it to Crysis. Crysis is a sandbox game, where everything is physics based and interaction with the environment is insane. With the amount of stuff happening at one time on screen, the only limitation is the hardware you are running on. I played the game on ultra highest setting with 16xQ AA and my jaw was on the floor. I played MassEffect on 360 first, i thought it was the best game of 2007. I was recently playing MassEffect on PC on max setting and i have to tell you, it looks great. The character models are just amazing. But everything else is almost a direct port and pretty comparable to the 360 version. I just wish they push the pc version a bit more this time around.
I don't get it, those who are going to download it, are going to download it. Whats the point in delaying the game. It is going to get pirated anyways & tools like DRM SecuROM are just pissing off potential buyers, those games get much easier to download and play, rather then buying it and playing it.
First of all I never implied nor mentioned Gears of War 1 & 2. You have to give credit where its due and Gears of War did set the initial bar for current gen visuals. Secondly both games were exclusive to there own system and if you own one of them, you shouldn't be bothered by the other one, both Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2 are not the type of game that you will buy a console just to play them & like me if you own both then you should play both games because both are good games, ...
