I doubt gow3 storyline will have coop. I am guessing it will be separate like challenges mode in coop.

God of War 1 on ps2 looks way better than this. That footage must be from a ps2 version
10 for graphics, really? i haven't played the game yet and i will most probably playing the singleplayer on pc only, but from the videos i have seen. A 10? Please tell me if i am wrong, but isn't this running at 600 something resolution? I mean how can they give it 10. It's not like they are doing something extra ordinary in art department like heavenly swords or other fantasy games.
Just saying, the two games you mentioned above runs at 30fps and GOW3 runs at 60fps. Plus the promised scale in GOW3 is going to be mind blowing.
Add to the fact that other games in the same genre can't even stand close to how early builds of GOW3 looks like. It's really hard not to admire what Sony SantaMonica studio is doing, plus the game is still 5 months away. So yeah lets see what happens.

I do. Specially about god of war & mgs series. That is why I have a ps3, 360 and a PC.
I don't like to get into discussions like these but I will only say this, I am disappointed in Turn10. The game's graphics are no way near what they showed in the videos & so called screenshots
BTW isn't it coming to pc anyways? so please stop pretending that it's 360 exclusive.
There is no question in anyone's mind that splintercell is a great franchise and this one will be an awesome game as well and the logic given by that site is outright stupid. But the point remains that this generation i wouldn't call any game apart from the first party a true exclusive until this console race is over, with mgs4 being an exception so far.
I don't know, I won't really be surprised if Ubisoft decided to port this game later on PS3. May be like fall of 2010 or early 2011. But again it's all speculation. I guess only time will tell. I think if this goes to PS3 it will be like the last major third party game that has gone from exclusive to multiplatform. (I know about SplinterCell double agent on ps3, but that doesn't count since how god awful that port was).

Actually forget about everything else, just imagine a baseball game with MLB09 level graphics using Sony Motion Controller. How awesome would that be. Day1 purchase:P
It's a vga camera, & i still don't see the point of having a camera in your ipod. When almost every mobile out there already has a camera that is far more advanced than this.
People talk about Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, MassEffect, MGS4 and even Crysis, but I have never ever seen so much detail in a videogame character model before. Just the way his jaw and skin moves as he gets angry. I mean, its just mind blowing and yes i am a god of war fanatic.

I am guessing that will be one of the huge announcements Sony is going to make at TGS, Sony will try and go gun blazing at TGS in order to keep that momentum going.
It's going to be a close one this year between Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 and Ratchet & Clank for the best looking console game for 2009.
Not really, I am pretty sure some one will or already has found a way around it.
To be honest, I love Halo 1 and 2, especially 1, it was an amazing game. But there is one thing i like about Sony is that they never rely on one franchise. This gen the only disappointment i had from Sony's end was the lack of solid rpgs in general. Microsoft on the other hand relies too much on Halo. We all know holiday 2010 highlight from Microsoft will be Halo Reach. I mean seriously? How about a brand new IP, how about a new game that revolutionizes the genre like Halo 1 did.
I guess it has more to do with the optimization of game engine. UE3 games are not that resource heavy as seen in the past & they can scale well on different computers. But ME2 looks really really good. Can't wait to play it on my pc.
