First of all I love Killzone 2, it's the best looking fps out there. But crysis on pc was amazing not in terms of just raw visual graphics but in terms of scale, physics, and interactive environment. How much can you interact with the environment in other shooters? even in open world games? There were no invisible walls in crysis. Crysis 2 will blow people away with graphics on pc, there is no question about it. I hope the console versions can keep up.

I was replaying GTA4 on pc yestrday, i did finish it on the 360. I still think it's one of the best looking open world game. The game feels so dense on pc compared to the 360. The crowd, the number of cars on the road, the draw distance, it looks pretty amazing. The game is great it's a 8.5-9.0 in my book. I bought the lost & damned dlc on 360, didn't finish it, i will however get this on pc and finish it. Hopefully Ballad of Gay Tony resolves a lot of the issues i had with GTA4.
I think people are passing on judgments without seeing the stuff. I for one dislike the idea of motion gaming because i always prefer a standard controller or keyboard/mouse setup. But if microsoft can pull off what was shown in the early advertisement videos then yes it will be awesome for casual gaming, but I highly doubt Natal for one will be more than a gimick for core gaming. May be if you are playing halo you can throw grenades etc. but again I pretty sure there are alot of talented gam...
This game needs to be played on a high end machine. The visuals are really outstanding on PC. I haven't played the 360 version. But on PC it's one of the best looking games dare i say the indoor environments looks almost as good as Crysis indoor environments, but what it lacks in is facial and character animation, and character models. The game is very good. I would definitely rate it 8+.
My issue is the tech demos before gears 2 release were pretty impressive. Specially the water and how the ripple effects and how the promise of 100+ enemies on screen, soft body physic, dynamic lights and shadows etc. but the final game didn't look anything like that & scene where they showed 100+ enemies on screen, that was just dumb ai running forward and u can shoot them. As good as the game looks on a high end pc, screen tearing is literally killing it for me. I am not very sensitive to these things, but damn it's the most noticeable tearing i have seen this gen.
I have been playing through Battlefield Bad Company 2's singleplayer campaign on PC lately and on max settings it looks pretty good, i don't know how it looks on consoles. The graphics were good but they were missing something. They were missing the level of polish. GOW3 will be huge, but I think one shouldn't count Bad Company 2 out. It had more time plus fps has a huge market in US. I really hope GOW3 do really well at retail. Sony Santa Monica Studio are one of the best developers in the business right now and they deserve nothing less.
I am guessing R3 or Killzone 3 will be announced at GDC.
I want announcements of Syphon Filter, MotorStorm 3, New David Jaffe game, and heaps of games for Arc.

I still cannot believe people are comparing Killzone 2 to Halo Reach, which by the way will be almost two years old when Halo Reach comes out. Halo Reach looks good really but from the footage we have seen so far, it doesn't even touch killzone 2 on a technical level. Remember Halo Reach footage where he fires a gun at wall to show off particle effect and there is no effect on the way. Try doing the same thing in Killzone 2 and you will see. Just the amount of dynamic lights in a single level...
unfortunately ppl dont give insomniac enough credit. Ratchet & Clank TOD & Crack in Time looked amazing. While Resistance 2 was a mixed bag of great character models, but bland art design. I hope Insomniac proves everyone wrong with R3 & showcase what they can really do.
Things will only get better from here onwards. I am pretty sure Sony will announce some really heavy hitters after God of War 3 will be released.

I for one wants natal to succeed. But i have serious doubts over what Microsoft has been claiming it would do. I think Microsoft (as usual) over promised with what Natal can and will do.
