Thats not possible, I even doubt it will come out next year. I think it will out in Mar/Apr 2010. Even without it Sony has Heavy Rain, MAG, WarDevil and most probably Uncharted 2 to carry them through Xmas 2009. Microsoft will put up a good fight as well with Alan Awake and Halo 3 Recon (yes I know ppl will still buy it).
Its a strange tactic if Microsoft is thinking to negate the effect of Killzone 2. Because I know a lot of people will buy the DLC. But will it persuade anyone to buy a 360, I doubt it. But on the other hand if Sony can push the advertisement campaign and resolve all the server issues by the time Killzone 2 comes out, I am pretty sure it will be a million seller easy.
The ads are great, but Sony really needs to show there games more. I mean there are tons of games, games are just simply Jaw dropping, games like Folklore, Heavenly Swords, Uncharted, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, LBP, MGS4, GT5 Prologue, Socom, WarHawk, WarDevil, Ratch & Clank, and many others. They need to show games that are not only released in this quarter but solid titles that have released during the past year and upcoming games. They really need to push it as the ultimate game machine...
No they won't, i doubt it is such a big issue than ppl are making it. I have playing alot of contents that contains things like these and they haven't removed it.
I don't think Sony can acquire them anymore. They are just too big for Sony to acquire. I would be more than happy if it happens, but I doubt its a possibility. Especially considering the current financial situation.
@Ligt...
Do you really need to be an @$$ on every news? I mean seriously grow up kid. Your parents must have been very disappointed in u.
Anyways great game, I can't wait for it.
& We still don't have a favorite console. Cool;)
You sure about english subtitles?
I guess I will have to weight, I don't want the multiplayer to be region locked. Can't take any risks.
One thing is true, PS3 will crush the Japanese market when this game comes out.
Well there are 7 exclusives in that list, so thats encouraging.
I swear to god, I absolutely hate sony right now. Why the hell did they scrap the project. I mean that was a pre-pre-pre alpha build and the animations and the cover system was soo insane.
That article was 110% accurate. Unfortunately its true, our gaming media is biased. I remember the recent terminology that "every enemy shoots at you is annoying" for R2, while the same thing was in COD4, Gears 1 and every other shooter out there. Similarly I am pretty sure the media will bash Killzone 2 reviews on saying it isn't CGI.
I stopped using Gamespot long time ago. I recommend everyone to do the same.
I know what they are talking about. If any of you visiting playstation's killzone 2's official ask the dev thread. There he said that quite a few gaming sites had there hands on the latest singleplayer and multiplayer build but all of them are under NDA.
Secondly he also said that the beta build is quite old & there have been lots of improvements in the current build as well as the framerate is rock solid now.
Probably Guerrilla Games would have shown one of the much touted co...
Exactly what I thought. I am not in the beta, but from the destruction videos I saw, I am pretty sure they didn't even play the beta.
I agree with you, its a very simple game, with great value across all modes. But I think there is one issue that will hurt its sales. Although the sackboy does look cute and this game may seem to look like its a casual game, its not actually, some story levels are pretty hard, plus sackboy's jump leaves a lot to be desired. But when in the groove the game is a blast to play.
Now thats the worst implementation of UE3.:(
I am playing it now a days and I am absolutely loving it. Although I do admit there are some frustrations in the gameplay department. Sackboy's jump is really annoying sometimes. The checkpoint system absolutely sucks plus some story levels are pretty hard:(
But all these grievances simply disappears once you get in the groove of this game. I would be surprised if LBP doesn't win GOTY & its a remarkable achievement in itself that a 2.5D game may and most probably win in an era where...
Yeah I know they brought Yakuza 1 for PS2 almost at same time as the Japan. But they brought Yakuza 2 to US/EU after the release of the prequel. Plus they don't have any english subtitles in the japanese version, so good luck waiting a few years for the game.
Kinda odd, how many people want Bluray to die. I mean seriously?
Is it me or I see two gamespot COD5 reviews on the front page?
Yeah i can say this about a lot more games. I was in School when Duke Nukem was announced, I did my University, Masters and now working and still no sign;)
