This game perked my interest until I found out about the Battle Points system. Apparently the battle points you earn in each game to purchase items and vehicles will not carry over to the next game. So whenever you start a new online game, you'll have to start from ground zero and re-purchase every item. I'm not a fan of this kind of system usually, but if Kaos Studios can pull this off then I give mad props (and mad cash by purchasing the game as well).
That fucking sucks man. How disappointing. And I was hoping that the new Crytek engine would be the future for next gen consoles. It's following the footsteps of other lazy 3rd party developers.
I'm not complaining about the price because I'll buy the maps no matter what. But not everyone who plays KZ3 will buy the maps. That splits the gaming community into two since those with the new maps will be in a different set of games than those without the maps. I bought all three KZ2 map packs and it was ridiculously difficult to find many games with them, so not everyone is like us who buy all the maps. Follow PD's example and the online community won't be segregated.
Please don't charge for these maps, GG. Follow Polyphony Digital's footsteps and add content that won't segregate the online community please. If you want to make more money, charge for weapons, outfits, uniforms, etc. But when you charge for maps, you reduce the online community pool into two. I'll buy these maps day one, but I don't like my online gaming community to shrink.
Wow, an entire demo of... sniping...
Let's just hope it's not going to be censored like Sigma 2.
Some people decided to compare Bulletstorm and Killzone 3. After playing both, I'd say rent Bulletstorm but buy KZ3. KZ3 has a lasting appeal esp with the multiplayer.
I rented the game (bulletstorm) and already got bored with the multiplayer.
Just 3 and 4.
This game is pretty broken. The fighting game community pretty much feels that although it's really fun, there are some cheap things that make the game unbalanced, eg you'd be stupid to not include Sentinel on your team...
I actually agree with your comment kneon. I don't see what's so flawed about KZ3. It may not have the great storytelling as Uncharted 2 but what game does? Kz3's story might be average, but everyone is making it out to be worse than a bad Uwe Boll film.
I also don't get why the media loves COD's single player campaigns. While the multiplayer can be addicting and fun if you're into the twitchy shooter, the campaigns have always been scattered and sporad...
I want Snake to get laid. Seems like everyone else around him get the girls.
I'm getting this game for my PS3 and I don't care what anybody else says regarding console vs PC. I do not want to upgrade my PC.
That won't take too long. Bad Company 2 got boring after 50 online hours with the limited maps they had.
lol I remember awiseman defending Dragon Rising when it first came out like a total fanboy. It was a terrible shooter that consisted of crawling and sniping.
This trailer showed footage of running through the fields like a little girl and some explosions in the background sound (you can hardly SEE them).
I hated squad mates who camp and snipe the entire game. It's impossible to find a BC2 game without these camping snipers on my squad. Nowadays its hard to even find a full game.
Ouch!
Does it ban just the acct or the console?
You guys think they'll ban the accts or ban the console? It makes more sense if they ban the console, since you can create multiple accts easily.
Is he talking about Crysis 1 or 2?
