Yeah WTF was he doing the entire game? I started laughing when I saw him throwing the grenades all over the place.
You'd think that Kung Lao's hat would fly off lol while getting his head bashed by the incoming subway during one of the fatalities.
People who have a problem with KZ3 balance =/= people who aren't good at it. People who have a problem with KZ3 balance tend to be those who feel that KZ2 is a much more balanced and well-crafted game.
Jeez if this is happening in North America, I wonder if the game will even be available in Australia.
Yeah I don't understand these repeated reviews. It's the exact same TE stick every time except different illustration/art for each fighting game that comes out. Might as well review the artwork instead.

Wow that was the most pointless article. No reason to click on the link. The article summary on N4G contains most of the article lol.
Wow they made Kratos pretty true to the GoW series. I just hope he's not overpowered. It would kill the chances of MK9 being taken seriously at fighting game tournaments.
Yes, use timesplitters' values, not haze's values please.
In response to the article's question: No. The simple solution: rent the games that only provide 4 hours of campaign.
I do think that map packs should be free DLC though. The fact that some people buy maps while others don't will segregate the community and reduce the number of available people playing together. If developers want to make money, sell costumes, weapons, items, but not maps. Follow Media Molecule's footsteps. Or follow Polyphony Digital's footst...
I'm buying this game because Hans Zimmer (Lion King, Gladiator, Last Samurai, Blackhawk Down, Pirates, Batman Begins, DArk Knight, Inception, etc) did the soundtrack.
Game looks good. Not sure how long I can tolerate that robotic voice in my ear. ARMOR ENGAGED, CLOAK ENGAGED, etc. I was expecting a more war-like chaotic battle scene or something (killzone battle scenes). Seems the AI are really limited in number. And I'm not so sure if I'm a big proponent of the AI walking out into the open while shooting at you.
Not sure where they're getting that GT5 video, but my GT5 copy definitely does not look like that POS in the article.
Terrible sales? Far Cry 2 sold 3 million by January 2009. Who knows how many it has sold since then (2+ years after Jan 09).

Try going to the official forums and see how prevalent the class balancing problem is. You must be one of the camping marksmen.
In KZ2, people would at least try to rush and take over chokepoints. In KZ3, people just camp with their invisibility. People hardly play tactician, engineer, or medic because you're at a disadvantage compared to infiltrator and marksman. I constantly switch between tactician, engineer, and medic but I shouldn't ...
I've noticed that with every Socom 4 footage seen so far, the player often sprays bullets in the general direction without any precise aiming. Not just this video, but in many other videos posted previously. Is this inherent in third person shooters or in Socom in general?
I stopped caring which game looks better. Crysis 2 > Killzone 3 for one reason alone... you can't stay invisible indefinitely in Crysis! There is a practical COST to every 'perk' you choose to do in Crysis. The classes in KZ3 are so broken like staying invisible forever in the corner of a room with an assault rifle or being completely useless as a medic. I don't doubt that GG will fix all the bugs and network issues in KZ3, but they seem indifferent to the various gameplay ...
Both consoles are still selling well. There's no point, from a business perspective, to introduce new consoles yet. The way I see it, Microsoft is still making a lot of money from annual subscriptions while Sony is making a lot of money off of their exclusive studios.
The best things Far Cry 2 had going for it were the organic environment and custom map maker for MP. Too bad the game was buggy as hell.
I was hoping for a Far Cry 3 this year, but it is indeed a crowded year. Far Cry and Rainbow Six are my two favorite franchises from Ubisoft.
Of course he's going to stand by what he said. You think anyone at IGN will ever have the balls to retract what they've stated? Finding one instance of a frame drop would be enough him to jump up and down and justify his previous claims.
