replay value is really personal preference. Quite simply for me, if I enjoy the game then it has replay value. Look at Mario Bros for godsakes, that game has absolutely zero replay value by todays standards in the gaming industry but completely makes up for it because its nostalgic.
Some games have a ton of replay value and I know they do, i.e. Mass Effect 2, but I have so many other games to play or want to play that who knows if I'll ever get to or remember to replay ...
If put alot of care into the game by a good developer, the game has some great potential to open up the world of Inception even more. I'd love to know more back story about the whole Inception team and the creation of the dream machine.
I think if Quantic Dream made this game it would be cool.
I'm pretty sure Nolan wouldn't take part in a videogame unless there was some good talent lined up or a good idea on how to use the media correctly with bo...
Hell No, go pick up the Ultimate edition of BC2 (which gives you Onslaught mode and Battlefield 1943 for free). You can pick the game up at anytime, more players are migrating back to BC2 after Halo Reach and Black Ops have been played through.
As for MAG, I love that game. There is nothing like being on a good squad in MAG but sometimes it just doesn't end up beign that enjoyable.

Tomorrow and Dec. 22nd.
I can't wait. Now if DICE can just patch up all the spawn deployment area raping on conquest modes (especially Atacama). Even if that's what its intended to be, its pretty silly and downright noobish to camp out with a tank and spawn kill people. Where is the skill in that?!?
SP is great, it is what helps define each game with its story and setting. I think developers need to focus on more ways to make the SP more engrossing with great replay value and longer stories, especially for FPS games. Many other genres, the SP experience is what it is all about.
THIS!!
can't stand second chance and the ridiculous radius in which you can knife lunge.
LOL......I got both but have BF BC2 on my Xbox because, unfortunately, all my good friends own Xbox's. But I convinced them to buy BC2 sometime ago.
Whether or not you have a PS3 or 360, you should buy this game. This is not a console flame war, come on man!! I think there are 2 reasons why the PS3 is getting the update first. 1. I think DICE uses the PS3 as their pseudo-lead console and 2. Sony is a bit easier to deal with when it comes to patches/updates. The xbo...
Yea, I've pretty much enjoyed every FPS game this year.
Honestly, MAG might have been the most rewarding experience this year in the FPS realm. I really like how fresh MAG felt.
If the next iteration of Battlefield can include the customization of the likes of Halo and Black Ops, it would simply be EPIC!!!
Any word on the Xbox update?
Black Ops is fun and way more balanced than MW2. But certainly pales in comparison to BFBC2
Yea, I'd like all the weapons to have equally affected bullet drop but in the name of balancing the game I think it is fine. The new update should be good. Can't wait for Map Pack 7.
Hands down FPS of 2010. Multiplayer is simply amazing and I really really enjoyed the SP, especially the chatter among Sweetwater and Hagard.
Unfortunately, Black Ops and Reach had alot more customization to the Multiplayer modes and will probably thus be considered the better game. They are both good games and highly enjoyable in their own right.
But make no mistake, BC2's gameplay mechanics are top notch.
Ummm....actually there are a few options out there like this. The leader in console FPS games like this is probably MAG on PS3. OF DR was a valiant effort but ended up being extremely buggy on release and no one ended up playing it but I honestly love playing that game with a friend from time to time because of more authentic experience compared to the arcadey FPS games we have now.
There are obviously some more tactical and realistic FPS games on the PC like ArmA and Proje...
Netflix is awesome. I've found many amazing older, indie, documentaries and foreign movies I never got the chance to watch or even knew about. Its been awesome!!
People who hate on Netflix for there movie selection need to open their minds alittle more, the movie going experience doesn't revolve around CGI and action sequences!!!
I agree with statement about the whole illusion of each persons opinion . But I come here as a break from gaming to see whats up in the gaming world. Now I'm about to go back to play some more games.
PSN is by far a better deal than Live and if the PS3 gets an upgrade to their browser with Google Chrome, as has been rumoured, and Google TV then I don't see how Live can even compete. The current browser can stream Pandora and other music sites.
The only thing really giving Live an advantage is that install base for some of its mainstay games like Halo, Gears and the extra % of gamers buying multiplats (CoD) on the Xbox, mostly because the Xbox released 1 year earlier ...
It really depends at this point. First off, what the next CoD will be all about and Secondly, what other FPS games will be out and how good they are (i.e. KZ3, BF, OF...etc etc). If it is some type of subscription, then I may not.
Black Ops has been quite fun so far. The patch seemed to have fixed the lag somewhat, as well as not having nuketown (or other maps for that matter) being voted on like 6 times in a row.
I still have some qualms with the game but it feels much better than MW2 and has more balanced gameplay.
Many games just become too much like work because they end up being so tedious and they get old fast. We all have ADD nowadays, hahaha.
Plus there are so many amazing games from the past gen that I never got the opportunity to play for various reasons, so I try to purchase old games to play through them while some of my games this gen get put on hold.
A good reason is also that many gamers these days are just getting older and most likely don't have the ...
I already got Halo 1 sitting on my shelf both the Xbox and PC versions. I don't need another version. Use some creativity for once and come up with a new idea/game.
