Honestly, what matters most in BF games is that people use mics and work as a team. I think it would be nice to have some sort of cross-squad chat. Especially on PS3 since it is easily remedied on Xbox by making a party.
4 person squads are perfect for teamwork and communication.
MW3 compared to BF3 is like apples to oranges. Its ridiculous. I'm definitely getting BF3 and quite possibly MW3 (i'm alittle tired of COD games). The same reason I got ...
The passes are to make up for the costs to have online gaming, more or less. Whether or not the company has billions, millions or thousands, they have huge overhead expenses (especially for games with alot of production value) and in most cases shareholders to please. Online gaming is only getting more complex and costly. I have no problem if companies want to keep a revenue stream for their games with online especially with PSN since it is free. It will only help to create better games. ...
I barely play my Wii anymore. Honestly, I don't need a Wii to get in shape or play silly motion games that are honestly only good for a party or gathering. I honestly have used my Wii only for the big first party games and gamecube games. I'm not a big fan of motion control, nor am I a huge fan of handheld gaming, aside from simple games like angry birds. If i'm out and about usually I am busy. The Wii U better have some very "hardcore" gaming experiences. Meaning,...
This is ridiculous. I love BF BC2 on consoles and Battlefield 3 should be very similar to that, so its a win for me. But I will probably be getting a new PC rig soon after the game releases, so I may get the PC version as well. I'm not going to sit here and bash consoles. For any person with half a brain its easy to understand that consoles are not "current" technology, so therefore you can't truly compare them to PC.
Yea but sometimes the Chaos and Confusion can be a detriment. I've found that sometimes when a game has a smaller player count, 24 or 32, it becomes a bit more tense and thrilling. I've actually had the most enjoyable matches when its been like 4v4 or 8v8. At the end of the day, the teamwork mechanics in Battlefield makes the game so enjoyable.
Conkers bad fur day had the most laughs probably. But the most recent game, and unlikely, I can remember laughing alot in was Battlefield Bad Company 2 campaign and listening to the crew banter back and forth.
Portal 2 is just pure cleverness!!! The wall writings are pretty nice touch!
YES!! I was just about to post that but saw yours first. Conkers was pretty hilarious when I first played it!!
Great, more frivolous lawsuits. The legal system is so asinine in this country. Basically what this boils down to is that a robber (the hacker(s)) broke into a building (psn) and happened to steal things (psn accounts) which happened to be someone elses items because they were borrowing them (sony). How is this all of a sudden Sony's fault? They have their terms of service and it is voluntary. If you read it and don't like it or think it is questionable then don't use it.
It would be cool if Sony updated the XMB and possibly add some other features!!
Besides that, I've been enjoying SP gaming and Netflix works fine.
Sony just needs to release a backwards compatible patch for PS2 games already. They can put it on PSN for a price and highly reduced (or free) for PS+ members. Thats really what I want from Sony, besides an updated XMB and browser (although supposedly coming with Chrome support).
That is a pretty strong opinion. I'd have to disagree. RDR is a pretty fun game, albeit slightly overrated but pretty damn awesome. LBP1 and 2 are pretty epic for those who like to be creative and honestly something Nintendo needs to look at for future innovation with its Mario franchise.
I have more reasons to start up my PS3 these days than I have to start up my Xbox and if my good friends also owned a PS3 (they are cheap asses) then I would literally only play my Xb...
PSN being down really only affects services that rely on PSN (online multiplayer, PS store, friends). I can still use Netflix and use the PS3 browser. The internet is fine.
People need to chill, the internet still works perfectly on the PS3. I'm confused why people are hating on Sony. If this happened on Xbox, just for comparison purposes, there would be no browsing or Netflix experience.
Japan is having all sorts of power issues (among other things) ...
If they add servers without an extra fee, i'm in. (and add some more game modes for Hardcore players). Whenever I play CoD it always ends up being 4 or WaW and sometimes MW2. The CoD series got really bland and how much more can they milk it.
I'm just waiting for Battlefield 3. No CoD for me this year unless my friends give me some money to buy a copy to play with them.
The second they took out multiplayer, was the second I was not buying this game. Many people are looking for a more "realistic" FPS game and myself and many of my friends were actually somewhat excited about this, but to no avail.
Just wait for Battlefield 3.
Thank god for the map rotation fix, that has one of the biggest glaring issues. I don't think one class is better than another. If people work as a team this game is a helluva good time. Unfortunately I have not been able to play much lately because of other commitments.
Clock speed alone can't tell you squat.
need much more info about the GPU and even the CPU to make comparisons and then Nintendo has a horrible online service so in the end it almost wouldn't matter if it is cumbersome to play online matches.
For Nintendo, dual analogs is like a revelation. They have the Wii classic controller but you can't even use the damn thing with every game, so its ridiculous. I believe the Wii classic controller is truly the only dual analog nintendo controller.
The controller idea might be good if they can implement it. It could be a flip screen in the middle of the controller, when flipped makes 6 inches. Could easily incorporate regular control functionality if done as I said. Might be interesting to see if they had some type of AR type of implementation with the screen. But the power of the console itself will certainly have to be better than what is rumoured.
Hopefully the CPU will be good, but the problem that developers ha...
Its quite simple to explain. You sell something to the casual masses, that a hardcore gamer recognizes as a gimmick or as something not that viable for a hardcore gamer, and it sells well because it captures the casual sheeple.
I've enjoyed Nintendo products but the DS and Wii, for me at least, are horrible. The whole touch and motion things are gimmicks that are really only good for certain types of games, and very few at that. I remember playing Metroid 3 and how goo...
They should be 1 hit kills OR should be massive damage shots, which would cause you to bleed out in 10 seconds (or something along those lines) if a medic doesn't come to your rescue and even if he does you are left with 50% health.
