Nintendo easily has the most to prove. Wii's all over the place are gathering dust. 3DS is cool but just another way to pass off and rehash their older games again OR make kids go cross-eyed. Yea, thats true, but I believe the workers are still going to get paid, at least that is what I last heard, like a week or two ago, that might have changed. So it honestly doesn't affect it as much. There is a huge surplus of vehicles in the U.S anyhow.

whatever, PSN+ is better than XBL and if XBL has a game PSN doesn't, I go to Steam (and usually can get a deal on it). $60 for a year is pretty cheap but compared to the other options and what is offered, it is RELATIVELY expensive. Steam is free and offers tremendous deals on some amazing games. PSN+ is 10 dollars cheaper and has by far already paid for itself with all the free PSN+ stuff I have acquired.

Sony is great at redesigning their consoles, why don't they just redesign the PS3 once more and just upgrade the internal parts across the board. Use the same structure but upgrade the SPUs, graphics, ram, vram. They did this for the slim. The SPU was upgraded to 45nm from 65nm. This added power saving and some performance increases. I don't get all this hoopla all the time about graphics and pixels. Make a good game experience, who cares how many pixels or whatever. I still play 8-bit games which I've owned since the mid-1980's and newer throw back games. Why, because the game experience is amazing.

I'm more excited for console gaming then I ever have been. The only issue with any game being developed, mobile phone gaming aside, is that it takes an enormous amount of resources (i.e. money, talent, tech, time). Everyone is crazy over which version will be better and who's got the better E-dong. Just buy whichever version you'll enjoy the most. If you have a good PC and enjoy K/M then buy it on PC, if you enjoy the PS3 controller over the Xbox controller then get the PS3 version and vice-versa for the Xbox version. Or if you like PSN versus XBL.

This sounds pretty much like a mix between Heavy Rain and Mass Effect in a modern war setting.
I think it is a cool idea if he can capture the gamut of impacts that war has not only on, say, a platoon but on families and society.
He could pretty much structure it after the attacks of 9/11 to today.
Nintendo has to do this or they will be relegated to 3rd place for next gen. They have to take the approach Xbox360 did this gen, get some good hardware, get it out early and build a userbase for hardcore gamers.
