It all depends on the game, but I prefer a nice deep game with deep gameplay mechanics that I can come back to and work my way through then a 8-10 hour story focused game I'll have done over the weekend.
Why do people insist on talking about things they don't know? They are saying MT's are coming, but as of today there has been 0 MT's.
@trooper
Maybe read the article you posted first before you decide to try and be a condicending douche.
Sea of Thieves doesn't have MT's, I stopped reading at that because you couldn't even bother to get your facts right.
So I have heard about this closed door showing and from what I can gather... there is no way it was running on any console we have this gen. The gameplay they showed had to be on a super computer and will probably only be as good as the showing on next gen consoles.
I mean it was obvious that gameplay segment was scripted, not necessarily a cutscene, but the segment was choreographed perfectly by who ever was playing it and how they set it up. It's pretty lame they didn't show another way to handle that segment like they did with Days Gone, but instead showed the same choreographed gameplay section.
We need to do that kissing scene another 29 times please... on another completely separate note... can we get another box of kleenex?
He is obviously closeted and hates himself for it.
Well that trailer was somepoint in the game. We haven't seen why JD looks like he is back in the COG or what happened to his arm and any other weird shit happening with Kait. JD won't be completely out of the picture, but I don't mind them focusing on Kait's far more interesting story for this entry.
Well they are making Gears Tactics for PC.
Is till enjoyed it, but I agree. I also gave them a little forgiveness for it being the first game with the new characters and trying to establish them in the world.
Kait being the main character was just natural progression of the story after what we found out at the end of Gears 4. I'm really interested to see how her story pans out.
Well Rod Fergusson and a good chunk of The Coalition worked on the original Gears games, but technically this studio has only done the Gears 1 remaster and Gears 4.
There are plenty of other weapons and modes. Also Horde.
I do hope they bring back dynamically changing maps again. I enjoyed those.
I can't wait to take on that beast with the 2 maces. That part was awesome in the trailer.
Rod even admitted in the interview after E3 that Gears 4 was safer to get back to the roots and show people they can still make a solid Gears game. This one won't be as safe, and judging by the fact of having open hub areas... i'd say they are making quite a few new changes.
Rod Furgesson and most of The Coalition has been working on Gears since it was with Epic, so if he is saying it's the biggest Gears... i'd say it's the biggest Gears for the series, not just for their studio made Gears games.
Not every game needs to be hyper realistic. I like the art style of Gears. No other game gets the chunky gore quite right like Gears does.
GamePass strikes again! Great service for the $.
Loved this game. Looked fantastic on my Pro already. If anyone only has an Xbox and didn't get to try this on a PC or something I highly recommend it.
XCX and XC2 are not actually connected story wise. XCX is more of a spin off and quite frankly, in my opinion, better than XC2.
