You're comparing SP ONLY games to a franchise where only 10% of the userbase even completes the SP. Two totally different beasts here. I don't think he is saying there is no importance in SP for the industry, just that SP in CoD has never been the main selling point since so few people finish it or stick around for it.

Well you know that it's not the same dev who makes it every year, right? For example I typically only pick up Treyarch CoD's and even then I still skipped BLOPS 3 so it's been 6 years since I've bought a CoD.

I'd guess that in some areas there are places with internet less than 25mbps down. Place like Libya It has 52% internet connection below the speed of 256 kbps.
The average speed in the US is 10.7 mbps while UK's average is something like 26mbps
So it really depends on where you live. Just saying the lower they can set the bar and keep it great looking without major hiccups the better for everyone. Considering that'...
But the side missions have been good... have you played it?
It will only be a revelation if they can get the internet requirement fairly low with it still looking and playing fine. Only time will tell. Regardless, I have never been a fan of playing big games on a small phone so I'll stick with my traditional gaming experience.
The game is a ton of fun, but I'm in the same boat as you. Just so many games I was already currently in the middle of before it came out I've only put in maybe a couple hours.

What better way to know if you want to invest by knowing how many people have logged in and or currently playing? There are more than 2 million people who are playing Horizon 4 so regardless if half are sales and half are GamePass... there are still 2 million people in the eco system.
