"BR mode is just one mode. It's not a replacement for a full fledged campain with a story."
Why isn't it? Plus, there is still a story there if you play through the Operator HQ. It ties into the Mason family line and everything. BR mode will get way more play time then some 4 hour campaign everyone will forget about the next day when they go and sink 99% of their time in either MP or Zombies...
@Kevn
Yeah I know. Social MP to them is like garlic to a vampire
It's sarcasm on my part making fun of the gamers who are so distraught about it not being "100% historically accurate"
There isn't less content. It was replaced by a BR mode that will probably get WAYYY more playtime than their campaigns do.
This is the PSVR game from the dude that did Rick and Morty, yeah?
@UCForce
It does look like it's gotten better for sure since that previous demo as far as total quality and such, but I'm talking about a gameplay hook. I just don't see anything there that intrigues me.
Peoples main complaint about SoD2 was the overall lack of polish and Jankiness at launch, which is fine and I understand that, but it's been improved greatly since. SoD2 has a gameplay hook that interests me and I can look past it's le...
That's a good idea, but damn I couldn't wait haha It is still a fantastic game.
They should just cut it and focus on making the MP better like in CoD BLOPS4
@IRetrouk
Not sure if I will or not, but maybe I will... Because the missions we got and the bit of story did have me intrigued about what Black Cat is up to, I'm just a little bummed that I cant see that resolution unless I buy the DLC. I feel like she shouldn't have been in the base game at all until this DLC. Not sure why that would make me feel better, but them doing it this way makes me feel like they purposely cut out the good parts of the story to sell it lat...
@UCForce
Absolutely agree with you on that. Shadow of the Tomb Raider has one of the worst DLC plans I have seen. I won't be buying any of that either.
@Jay767
How am I a salty fanboy when I literally just said that it's my current GOTY? lol And, to me, State of Decay has way more things that make it engaging to me than what I have seen from Days Gone. That could all change once its released and there is some amazing hook, but f...
Ooookay, that was random lol
Well I mean I love this Spider-Man game. I have expressed that multiple times that so far it's my GOTY, I just see this as a blatant cut content repackaged for sale. I mean, they already had her built up in the base game where you have to uncover her plan, but then it just ends... Then behold the rest of her story pops up as a DLC...
I love the game, I love Insomniac, but you gotta call it when you see it.
Campaign missions that feature a woman AND a black guy!? Uh oh, time to boycott.
I'm surprised Traveller's Tales hasn't gone the way of TellTale by now. They keep licensing out IP's and just re-using the same gameplay formulas for all of their games just reskinning it with whatever license they bought.
My point is that is shouldn't be a DLC. Half her mission/storyline was already in the damn game. They cut out the interesting part to sell as a DLC it seems.
So they tease black cat with some pretty dumb collectible "missions" and then they sell her actual story line in a DLC?
-_-
I was interested in what she was planning for her grand Heist and how she got her suit back and everything... really bummed that I now have to pay to see that conclusion :/
Yeah there is a story there, just not really a campaign. So if you're someone who likes to play against bots then there is still something here for you.
@Anibus
Actually it's only 9% of people who completed the BLOPS 3 campaign, But in that 9% (A little over 2mil players) who bought the game ONLY for the SP? I bet that number shrinks down to less than 4% of people who buy it only for campaign, probably less. So you're looking at a tiny fraction of their player base here, and with them taking it out and focusing on more of the content that 96% of the playerbase plays the most, they are selling pretty damn well breaking digital...
So you have a Xbox one, but you're still going to pull out your 360 or ps3 to play these games?
Edit: and it's not about being "smart" and buying a HDMI switch you dummy. I don't like the clutter of having a ton of consoles, especially ones I barely use anymore, in my entertainment center.
So you bought CoD ONLY for the 4 hour or so campaign? So you're that 1% lol
