@aspiring
It's introducing it in a flashback that is what's wrong. If they would have just introduced it at the prison scene because he HAD to use the rope to reach that tower... fine, sure. But when you introduce something in a flashback it's kinda hard to just assume he forgot all about his brother and this rope swing mechanic for his adult adventuring life...
@neutral
To each his own, but anytime a narrative on a 5th entry clumsily introduces a brother never spoken about and then introduces a swinging mechanic in a flashback that was never used before... id say that's some pretty Rocky ground to start on...
As far as the gameplay goes there is a lot more variety in TR. From level design, combat, tombs, treasures to find and just general exploring and talking to natives for side quests etc.
TR to me is better on the gameplay side, but Uncharted has the better narrative and characters for sure.
Edit: besides Uncharted 4, what a narrative train wreck.
Since the TR reboot
They said it was a feature they want to do but Sony wasn't helping. That doesn't mean the feature was just ready to go as soon as Sony reversed their policy.
This isn't at all what I was expecting. Will this be replacing Gwent? I mean it seems like the better version.
@ultra
Fortnite was already prepped and ready to go for crossplay unlike Fallout 76. It was a feature they wanted to explore but kept getting shut down by Sony so I'm sure they put it on the back burner for now.
Sony is only doing a Crossplay beta with Fortnite... some media outlets even reached out to the Rocket League guys and they said they still need to ask Sony if it's okay to enable it.
It's not like Sony opened up the flood gates for every game and now Bethesda are saying "no". They said themselves they're being selective and only in a beta and starting with Fortnite for now.
Edit: Also Fallout 76 is still in beta and since crossplay...
We will see
Just please less Perfect Dark Zero and more OG
At least get your headline correct. Geez.
I don't believe you. Because the Xbox One X handles the AC Origins just fine and plenty of other open world games without that crazy amount of frame drops.
Is that just your Video Capture that is causing the framerate to look like crap?
@Tekolie
I don't have a platform to write on unless you want me to write a user blog that no one will care about haha
Exactly, I think they can do something great, but need a bit of help on a technical standpoint. Maybe they can get Ninja Theory or someone to give them some guidance.
I kinda burned myself with FH3 buying the ultimate edition... I thought it came with all the DLC and not just the car pass, double XP and early access :/ So I'm sticking with GamePass for this one.
From what I'm hearing is that it runs really great on PC and even requires less specs then FH3 since PC was in mind from the beginning.
I think you're just high.
@ultra
Absolutely. I also implore that if any of you guys on here are a writer for one of the smaller sites that submit their articles on here, please make a fuss about it like everyone did for Crossplay.
How many recent games are on PSNow? or even launch new on PSNow like Vermintide 2?
But honestly now that it features downloading titles there aren't many differences. If they can figure out PS3 downloads, work on their pricing model, and start included newer games sooner... I'd absolutely sub.
