Or the game just sucks, like everything else Crytek has put out since the original Crysis.
The only good component of Gears Judgment was the singleplayer, which was made by People Can Fly. Epic handled the multiplayer portion of the game themselves, though, which is also the part of the game that everybody considers a huge failure. Since Epic themselves developed it, it hangs on their head. It's also worth pointing out that Gears 3 started the downward slide with the dumb decisions they made (sawn-off and retro lancer) that marked the beginning of the end. I've no doubt tha...
I wouldn't have too much faith in many Xbox exclusives really. Rare hasn't put out anything decent in a long time, and neither has Lionhead Studios either. Gears of War is on a very sharp downwards trajectory given how bad Judgment was, and the majority of Halo fans agree that Halo 4 was a huge disappointment and 343i don't really know what they're doing.
The only studio that puts out anything worthwhile is Turn 10 with the Forza franchise, and even that's...
The Alien franchise has been utterly butchered. After the horrific mess that was Prometheus and the abomination that was Aliens: Colonial Marines, I've since given up on anything good coming from it ever again.
If you want to play a good 'Aliens' game, go play the original Dead Space. Just make sure you don't touch any of the sequels.
This is what happens when you let 12 year olds write and submit 'articles' to news aggregates.
Sony's gamesharing solution blows Microsoft's out of the water. Seriously, if you saw how you can share games on PS3 right now, you would laugh at how pathetic MS's idea of 'sharing' is.
To put things into perspective, right now you can make a PSN account with a friend, purchase a game on that account splitting the cost 50/50 between the two of you (!!!) and then log in to that account on both consoles and download the game. Then you can both play that gam...
It's funny seeing people brag about how stupid they are lol
Haha you think Ryse looks good. What a chump :D
If you look at what games Jesse Schell has made, you'll see that he's a talentless hack, which is why he's so opposed to used games.
Maybe he would sell more copies of his games if they were actually good and worth buying? Might be an idea to take a good look at himself before he starts blaming his failures as a developer on everybody else.
This game really is shaping up to be a shameless cash-in. The original developers aren't involved at all, and now we see that the team behind the abysmal Brink are on-board to handle the tacked-on multiplayer.
It's well-known that Polygon was funded by Microsoft (for quite a large sum of money too!) so make of that what you will when seeing the scores that they hand out to PS3 exclusives.
I think the Wii was the exception when you take into account that the N64, GameCube and now the Wii U have all performed very poorly.
Nintendo does well in the handheld market, but when it comes to home consoles they have absolutely no idea what they doing and save for striking lucky once, they get absolutely dominated by Sony and Microsoft.
I can see Nintendo going handheld-only and focusing on that market eventually, because they just don't have the res...
It's pathetic though, they're scraping the barrel for the oldest games possible. At least on PlayStation Plus they give away recent games.
Yeah, they need to drop the price and ditch the Kinect, or they might as well not bother. It would also help if they introduced some actual value to Xbox Live as well, while also ditching the absurd amount of adverts on them system too.
He really is. It's unfortunate to see stupid people crawling out of the work to defend him, especially when it's a so-called journalist (funnily enough, Phil said all game journalists are assholes) who are trying their hardest to portray him as a nice guy, when he's been nothing but poison to the industry since he entered.
Yeah they're both idiots, and I'm glad to see Fish gone because he really is a horrible person. He's been nothing but poison to the industry and in particular the indie gaming community, and I hope that he never returns. Same goes for that Beer guy, too.
Anybody defending either of these people is obviously oblivious to why they're so disliked in the first place.
Uncharted 3 looks nicer than those CryEngine 3 screenshots, so I'm glad that Naughty Dog stick to their own engine :)
Yeah, Sony and Microsoft need to start releasing some in-depth videos demonstrating how the operating systems for the next gen consoles work.
bicfitness is correct, it's just debug functionality. Tragic to see so many people in this comment section thinking Xbox One's will turn into development kits that they can make games with. Still, kudos to Microsoft PR, they know how to spin things and con people like the best of 'em. Bravo.
They're only making these changes because preorders are so low. Microsoft doesn't care about consumers at all, they only care about money.
Lots of people complained about their policies, but Microsoft didn't care and stuck to them stubbornly. It's only when those consumers then flocked to PS4 that Microsoft took note.
People should remember that, rather than desperately trying to defend a company that doesn't care about them or treat them ...
