It will be terrible, just like every other Alien game that's been crapped out.
If you want a laugh, check out the details of the game itself. It follows the story of Ripley's daughter (LOL, she died of cancer while Ripley was in hypersleep according to the film) and has her fighting mostly mercs and droids (according to the developers).
Gee, another crappy Alien game where I run around shooting humans. Sounds amazing...
Remember when Kojima kept getting fans excited about Zone of the Enders 3, and then it ended up getting cancelled? Good times.
People need to stop getting caught up in all the nonsense hype that the gaming media likes to stir up for hits to their sites. It always leads to disappointment.
I'm surprised that people still pay attention to these media types trying to build hype so people click through to their sites. These reveals are ALWAYS disappointing, there has yet to be one single exception to the rule, yet still people get themselves excited every single time.
You guys are all whipped-up into a hype far too easily.
Out of the studios you listed there, only Lionhead and Rare are Microsoft UK studios.
As for Quantum Break, I can't see it remaining an Xbox One exclusive forever, much like Alan Wake didn't. Mezzo probably won't need an Xbox One to play it.
UPlay is garbage and much like EA's crappy Origin service, they both need to disappear.
Makes you wonder what happened with Capcom as well, since they've had to pull copies of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 down from online stores as well.
I couldn't care less about Activision losing the license, but the MvC games by Capcom are really good and it's a shame that UMvC3 will probably be the last entry in the franchise.
I'm gonna wait for other people to be guinea pigs, because after seeing gameplay footage with a player using a gun that auto-targets three enemy players at once (with literally no aiming at all) and kills them all in a single shot, my excitement for this game nosedived. I know the last games these guys made were horrifically unbalanced (MW1 & MW2) but Titanfall seems to be reaching new levels of brokenness. Hopefully they actually attempt to balance the game this time round.
Hopefully some good comes from it however, like publishers realizing that stupid DRM practices and online requirements are utterly dumb, especially when interruptions to services such as these screw with peoples ability to play games that they bought.
Then again the industry is trying hard to move away from game ownership to insisting that consumers only buy 'licenses' anyway, so perhaps this is just a blip on a sharp downward trajectory into crapsville.
I guess Microsoft is finally acknowledging that the Kinect is worthless and freeing up the 10% resources reserved for it so developers can use it for their games instead. Who knows? Maybe we'll finally see an Xbox One game running in true HD!
Hell yeah! Can't wait to see some of those classic Microsoft franchises like uh, ummm...
I think making reviewers pay for the games they review might actually improve the review process. I mean the expected result is that because they paid for the game, they'd be more critical? I sometimes feel that reviewers give games too easy a ride just because they got the game for free, so they excuse problems that anybody who paid for the game would not.
Besides, it would also put reviewers in the position of then having to deal with whatever launch day problems the ga...
Yup, just look at Games For Windows Live. Microsoft wanted to muscle in on the PC gaming market and failed, and now what's happening? They're shutting down the GFWL service, and all games that utilize it will be unplayable come next year when the service ends. Microsoft doesn't care :)
I'd love to see new Metroid, F-Zero and a good traditional Starfox game. Unfortunately though, Nintendo's release schedule is basically:
Mario
Mario
Mario
Mario
Zelda
Mario
Mario
Mario
Zelda
Mario
Mario
Mario
Mario
Mario
Mario
Mario
Great if you love Mario games, I guess?
I hope this causes as much damage as possible to EA, so much so that they exit the industry or suffer losses so severe that they don't dare release another buggy/unfinished game ever again. It's absurd that this industry gets away with so many awful business practices, and I'm pleased to see some legal action finally bite a company in the ass.
Hopefully this sort of thing continues.
Hopefully it hits Steam in time for the winter sale :D
Yeah, playing games for fun sucks.
Yup, if they're pulling the games from retail channels then it's because they lost the Marvel license, as many people suspected. It's a shame if so, especially since I was hoping they'd put out a MvC game on PC sometime.
Other games have been removed from the PSN/XBL stores in the past as well, for similar reasons. First example that springs to mind is Outrun Online Arcade being pulled from online stores when Sega lost the Ferrari license.
Hahaha, look at this sad fanboy baby.
"B-b-but Gran Turismo..."
Bwahahaha! Pathetic.
Hey now! According to NPD data Forza 5 sold about 20,000 copies as well.
LOL.
Yeah, it's a contradiction. They make excuses for keeping the playercount low but then need to pad the game out with bots to make up for the lack of players.

A big budget supposedly AAA FPS multiplayer game in 2014 with only 6v6 is quite frankly pathetic. Then again there's been reports that they've been struggling hitting 720p 60fps on Xbox One, so they've obviously had to lower the player count because of that and are dropping excuses now to justify it.
