Xbox/Surface/Bing are all part of the same division, which happens to be causing Microsoft to bleed a LOT of money. The longer Microsoft keeps these things going, the more money they lose, which is why shareholders have long been demanding that Microsoft get rid of them to focus on their enterprise business (Office etc.) and Windows, which actually do make the company money. So far Xbox has just been a failed effort to win the living room, costing the company a lot of money in the process.
Yeah, the guy's one of the slimiest liars in the business. I'd love to see Xbox sold to Amazon just to see this clown put out of a job, 'cause people like him are nothing but cancer to the industry.
@Georgeenoob
I have played the game, I'm in the beta you idiot. The fact that you're such a defensive fanboy whining about PlayStation owners says more about your insecurity than anything else. Personally I game on a PC, so I can have a much more objective opinion of the game rather than Xbox fanboys like yourself who have a meltdown any time somebody criticizes it.
I've been playing the beta and the player count is definitely too low, it needs to be at least 8v8 because there's way too much time spent running around the map trying to find human opponents, it's crazy. The AI bots are obviously just added there to try and prevent the levels from being complete ghost towns.
The power of the cloud indeed. lol
Man, a DIRT game that focused solely on rally would be amazing. The rally/landmaster events in DIRT3 were amazing fun, everything else was terrible though, especially that gymkhana garbage :(
Yeah, I had a good chuckle at the little blurb insisting that gamers are insecure when the only insecurity I'm seeing is from this guy desperately trying to insist that Titanfall is more important than people seem to think it is.
@GiantEnemyCrab
You can see information about the graphical downgrade on Digital Foundry where they talk about the game being 792p on Xbox One, as well as how the game struggles to maintain 60fps.
Meanwhile the PC version will be able to run at 1080p (and higher) with framerates of 60fps and above. Thanks to the game running on a modified version of the Source Engine, it won't require a powerful PC to run either, as the recommended specs released by EA co...
Everything about this game and the person who made it is both hilarious and pathetic.
I couldn't care less about the story or what characters are in the game, I'd love to see a sequel purely because the multiplayer was so fun.
Must be tough having a popular game and making lots of money. Really feel sorry for the guy.
This DLC is a lot cheaper to buy than Ground Zeroes though.
Sonic Generations was the only good Sonic game in a long time, and I have no idea why they don't just make something like that again. Wasn't it also the best selling Sonic game in a really long time as well? Everybody loved it and yet they go right back to making garbage...
Yeah, if you rush through Ground Zeroes you can complete it in five minutes (I wish I was joking). Two hours is the normal/casual playtime.
Well Konami's internal testers could speedrun the game in literally five minutes (!!!) so a normal/casual playtime of two hours sounds about right. I'm more inclined to believe GameInformer and Konami than some random no-name blog called geekparty...
Yeah, he compares it to Journey and Dear Esther which both cost much less money to buy. If they want to make a short game then that's fine, but price it appropriately. It really seems like they're using the brand name and dedicated fanbase as an excuse to rip people off, and it's really disappointing. I hope that people vote with their wallets on this, because if you fork over the cash for this you're just encouraging them (and other developers) to do it more in the future.
1080p 60fps would be pretty nice as well and yeah, it's a great multiplayer game so why not port it? Not everybody likes to keep every single old console hooked up to their TV.
Yup. There's no way that this game can possibly live up to the hype either, but it's hilarious to watch people keep throwing money towards it. The developer must be laughing :D
According to ex-employees, Rare have tried making a lot of the games that fans ask for but the projects always get shut down by Microsoft management (Phil Spencer).
@ic3fir3
The criticisms are all coming from people who have actually played the game.
