"the guys are acutally people who know racing sims and know more about racing games than any other so called "journalist" on the various websites who have reviewed it so far."
not to say that there isn't bias but why does everyone keep saying this towards GT5? are the only people allowed to review GT games the ones who like GT to begin with?
i don't believe you have to be as hardcore as these guys to review GT5. not everyone is a h...
@vulcan
sorry but from my experience--porsche wheel + club sport pedals > G27
heres a second opinion from inside sim racing:
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
skip to 25min for wheel impressions. fanatec impression: "very precise. by far the best package for gran turismo 5" so many people here keep saying the MS wheel is the only one for forza
...
@vulcan
they have one already. the fanatec wheels
i've played 7 hours into it(PC). its pretty fun overall. love the spell/craft system
the environment IMO isn't as good as oblivion. the land doesn't feel as vast as it does in oblivion. also, the mount/horse animation could have been better. it felt clunky to ride around
"WHY does MS and her supporters ONLY brag about the ONE region that they lead in while completely IGNORING the other 2 regions that make the 360 the WORST selling console"
you answered the question yourself. why would MS brag about a non-existent "lead" on other regions it doesn't have a lead in? it can't. dur.
same here. prefer my tubro s wheel over it-looks wise
does it come with an H shifter? i would expect it to if it were to really be $500
what you consider a minor might not be as a small of an issue to others
"The fact that the game doesn't encourage you to wreck the vehicles should NOT be held against it"
- this i don't get. if anything, the beginning levels does anything but promote careful racing. im level 15 and i wish i was at 40 already. the sense of danger as an after effect of carelessness is a big part of racing. i would game on PC for it but the graphics on those games just ...
@necrum
way to generalize
fan of both and both have their flaws
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
i own the game and there is a difference. big difference IMO. it has A LOT less jaggies in photo mode
"they sound very wrong, but it is widely known that GT5 has the best physics and handling in any racing sim"
lol. sorry but GT5 does not have the best physics/handling. PC is where the more authentic simulators are
by your "minor", its your opinion. thats fine. for me, a big part of my love for cars is how it looks and rims are a part of that
excluding supercars, there are stock cars that look great but just doesn't look right with the stock shoes they come in
"flaws as deal breakers." i didn't hear him say anything like that
2nd biggest difference(1st being the cockpit view) i found was the inability to change rims on the standard cars. might piss off some people who are fans of specific cars that aren't premium
doesn't affect me much as the select cars i want to own in the game are mostly premium
nvm. just searched it up and you can't change the rims on the standard cars but it doeesn't matter. just looked up the car list and the cars i wanna own are premium so im a happy camper
on topic: personally don't care for the rewind feature. makes the game too easy; it would make me not try as hard since i could just rewind it anyway.
only upside i see to it is for beginners who don't know they're way around tracks. a harder to memorize ...
"He confirmed the already known fact that standard cars won’t allow you to change your rims but at the same time pointed out another interesting fact that they will lack any kind of interiors aswell."
you can't change the rims. what? i thought it was just the color of the rims you couldn't change. can anyone here with the game confirm this?
only until the ps4 version comes out. this game is beautiful
what does home territory have to do with anything?
Sony owned the last 2 generation and Nintendo/Sega before that
their grading scale is also a bit different from other sites. high 80s from them is considered pretty good which is actually the way i like it
