forza, gt, shift: none of them come close to the sims on PC. no point in arguing about it. @strife the gpu has nothing to do with the physics engine
on topic: these shots aren't jaw dropping or anything but look good enough for me. first one had that ugly overstering physics but it was A LOT of fun so i'm still buying
for those interested. i just found this--worlds fastest sim racer races on a real track: 5531d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment
you should give other games a chance. some communities are much better than others
i've put 400+ hours into BC2 & very rarely run into immature douchebags. its surprisingly quiet actually
i'm no rally expert here but the camera angle swaying away from the center could be giving that illusion of "swinging" more than it should. still looks fun, probably going to pick it up
@focker
frontlines supports 50 players
"Stupidity may exist everywhere, but the USA seems to have a higher ratio of stupidity to intelligence than other countries (except China)"
thats an ignorant/stupid comment
"A thousand pounds isn't that much to people like Bill Gates, but for a single mum it is a lot of money that I don't have"
not america
other classes not having the ability to prone would be weird
from what i know, no they're not
of course it isn't. i don't understand why everyone keeps saying NPD isn't the world. i've ever seen anyone claim it is in any of the NPD articles
still, its much better than last generations sports games where your next update is the sequel to your current one
crap. i was hoping for some sort of video out. would be nice to be able to play 1080p movies off of it and onto the hdtv
anyone read of anything about it having some sort of HDMI out
BEAST. this is IMO, the perfect handheld
those specs look like it'll cost a lot though. im hoping it wont be too expensive, it'll never beat the 3DS marketshare at a higher price
yeah i'm sure it'll be a lot of fun. its just my track preference
motorstorm became my fav arcade racer because of the racing action & how vast/wide the tracks are. apocalypse feels like theres going to be a lot more narrow areas since its going to be on city roads
i think im alone on this but uh.. anyone else wish some terrain/noncity tracks were still in this? i still want the game but i probably won't enjoy this installment as much as MS2
@abriael - all games get reviewed pre-patch. its the way it should be. why should big companies get a free pass trying to make more money by making the holidays and releasing an unpolished game? i'm not talking about the reviews that seem like they only got 5hours of play from it btw
@rekon - i agree. its a sim, its what you should expect. can't review something like a puzzle game and knock off points for it being too puzzle-y
fanboys aside, i don't get why so many people complain about the earlier review. so what if they didn't play it for 60 hours(or however long you think they should have played it)?
30 hours of gameplay in GT5 isn't that much different from 60 hours of it. i'd say you can get a pretty good grasp on how the game is going to be after 20 hours of play. there aren't going to be any significant changes after that
i heard the same thing overall. im just hoping that video was wrong
anyone read any impressions of the controller?
i'm thinking about getting this mainly for the D-Pad. after hearing about the d-pad being "smushy" on this one youtube video, i decided to wait it out until i see more impressions of it
you might be the only one. as a racing fan, i wish there were even more actually
