on topic: one of my favorite pmp. i don't know about being able to "turn it around" but i wouldn't count 'em out on eating a tad bit more of that marketshare pie cause zuneHDs looking good
don't really need forza 3 for that. forza 2 already offers much more realistic damage. the forza 3 demos at game shows were probably set on cosmetic damage. make a mistake crashing into a wall @ 100mph+ will damage your car enough for you to not be able to race in forza 2/full damage setting on
you are in the minority if you think forza and granturismo aren't comparable. the whole world does it for a reason-they are both racing games/simulators
not bashing on forza here as im a very very big forza fan but modeling lug nuts aren't actually the hardest thing to do with 3d modeling

i was actually thinking of getting shift day 1 until reviews started to say how the physics have a touch of arcadyness to 'em. not that i dislike that(PGR3 is one of my fav), i just wanna first rent it out first before buying now
they put most to all assists on at these shows to avoid intimidating anyone from playing/enjoying the game since majority of the players there i would assume are amateur drivers. they are game journalist but that doesn't mean everyone of them are hardcore sim racers
they already keep hte race line guide always set on and they probably set the damage to limited/cosmetic
