the experience is different when you have friends over. being able to play 4-way split screen on 2 50in hdtvs(8 players) in halo is a lot more fun when youre all together hanging out than playing with them through xbl. wish it was available in a lot more games
"Except they could just discount the games. DERP."
except when points go on sale, you can use your discounted amount on any game(discounted ones as well). i don't think i've ever seen every xbl games go on sale at once
was so excited for this until i read about the no split-screen
a "next" button for custom soundtracks would be nice
allowing to go beyond the destruction in bf3 b2k would make the game unbalanced, specially for RUSH mode. everything destructable = very hard for attackers to get the objective since you just got rid of any cover they can use to move forward
i know first hand because this was the case in some bad company 2 maps. not sure about BF3 on PC but BC2 also had ground deformation on all platforms. used to be helpful for placing mines in them
@dante
yep there was. i loved making craters and hiding mines on 'em
the destruction in bf3 is sad compared to bc2. its weird how they have indestructible walls next to destructible ones
they missed the guide button(360 was first to have it). always thought it was a very useful feature for consoles
this isn't a big problem on rush
i did pre-order the limited forza 4 from amazon but how come i didn't get an option for the free release date shipping? are you only talking about prime members?
"Most smart self-respecting gamers buy from Amazon" < LOL
a smart gamer/shopper will look around for the best deals. ex. gamestop(i know most of you hate it) for me was the best choice for BF3 because of the physical warfare pack
anyone else who played the beta feel BF3 is a bit more sluggish than BC2(360 version)? response in the game is slooow
i'm hoping its a beta thing. didn't really read anything about it in the beta update log
if BC2 maps are we can go by then i dont see what you're talking about. i highly doubt BF3 maps are going to be significantly smaller. it takes 10min+ for you to run through harvest/oasis/etc from beginning to the end of the map. how are KZ maps bigger exactly?
its still nothing compared to the amount of physics calculations done in bf games. ex. trees falling, bullet drop, destructible walls, collapsible buildings, tank physics, helicopter physics, etc.
all of that done on a WAY bigger map where there are hundreds of those objects/multiple vehicles
talks about the physics in F4:

quote 1:
"I cant really take Forza completly serious when it comes to being a "sim" racer. Its a good game, but not exactly Sim."
quote 2:
"I prefer the gameplay and feel of gt than any other racing game, sim or not"
you don't play forza because its not a "sim"; you play GT whether it was a sim or not
what?
if by "time" they mean "games" then sure. otherwise, no
surprises me how many don't know about the fanatec wheels
link if you're interested: http://www.fanatec.de/
i respectfully disagree. i don't see the problem with the tokens/dlc in relation to what forza already has to offer. for 60$, it has WAY more content/replay value than 90%+ of the same priced games out there
why should it be in the game? would it make you feel better if they held off on a finished DLC for 3 months? 4 months?
i'm not defending DLC in general here. all i'm saying is as long as a game packs a lot for 60$, i have no problem with DLC
agree saturn did launch a little too soon. it was also a bit expensive($400) with only six launch titles.
respectfully disagree on the dk country thing though. i got mine on release date and the graphics were such a big leap for me specially since 3d on consoles weren't common just yet.
early games: virtua fighter/cop, rayman, panzer dragoon, toshinden, primal rage, etc.
