Activision's 1-year perks for Destiny's PS4 version is lawsuit-worthy.

It's $29 US dollars.

Not bad considering it contains a lot of things (a lot more than the first two expansions combined, though maybe a bit less than The Taken King).

If its Skyrim I would buy it TWICE! For Xbox One and PS4!!! Not even thinking about it!

More story is always welcome, and now even more interesting since they're using the multiplayer backstory as basis for this expansion. The lore in this game is getting more and more fascinating.

Wait wait, so it is actually possible to make the final product look BETTER than the demos shown before the launch?!?!

Naughty naughty, Naughty Dog... You're giving big studios an even WORSE name.

Say what you want about Destiny's failures... But MAN do they have some VERY talented artists among them!

Wait is it 1.5 or 1 and 1/2 ?? And why not 361 ?!

Seriously though, all of this because of 4K ?? Are they REALLY ready to deliver a 60 fps 4K resolution $400 dollar console? All this while also practically alienating everybody that already bought the Xbox One? I highly doubt it.

Consoles are not cellphones, nor should they be treated like one. I like the idea that all subsequent models be 100% backward compatible with previous gen titles like any ol' PC. ...

Consoles are successful precisely because they're less expensive than top-of-the-line PCs and every game is made to run on them; plus, the upgrade cycle is four to seven years. Its a great investment. Also you get a blu-ray player, netflix-ready, HD streaming service, and social apps, all in the same package.

All this for just $350 every four to seven years? Awesome for people who just want to play quick, casual and with almost no tech-savvy whatsoever, which are, whether...

The beta was promising, but so was Destiny's. First, I'll check reviews, videos, etc., of the finished product. Then maybe.

I like Destiny's concept better, just not the execution. Hopefully this competition will make two great games we can enjoy!

This is bad enough, I can't believe they wanted to be 'always on-line'!!!

Guess they thought that if they were the ones having server problems we'd be totally fine with it?!

Vita-using friends say this game is awesome.
I've never even heard of it before but I'm very intrigued.

Any comments guys?

I agree with Khaotic

I'm sure Bungie has a lot of slack, they're just not sure what to do with Destiny. They nailed the gameplay and went with it, story be damned (for now). They started to 'fix' the story on the go, but with Destiny, a constantly 'in present' world its not easy. I bet the engine and software is very new and don't have enough tools to deal with it or create new content that easily or at a reasonable pace.

To make m...

I was afraid I didn't get my point across.

But it now passed.

3785d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Fear is perfectly justified.

Even if there is a Destiny 2 this year, NOTHING guarantees that Bungie will undo their mistakes.

I love Destiny, but man, Bungie needs to clean up its act, specially whenever they communicate. All the lies and half-truths need to stop. That last one over not telling us about the switch in the matchmaking algorithms was insulting to say the least.

The end never justifies the means Bungie. We're paying customer...

I love Destiny and play it almost everyday. That does not mean Destiny is perfect.

3787d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I absolutely LOVE Destiny, but I will not make the mistake of taking anything from Bungie for granted ever again.

Destiny 2 can be, basically, two ways: better or worse than Destiny 1. (Don't think it will stay the same as 1, but hell, anything can happen).

I'm not sure everything is Activision's fault here. Bungie wants to make tons of money and I'm pretty sure all the micro transactions is all them.

What enrages me, is that...

Man... This game is becoming more and more like Destiny but in all the wroooong ways.

3789d ago 2 agree3 disagreeView comment

$40? Now this just made this game an obligatory buy!

3797d ago 18 agree1 disagreeView comment

Exactly, not JUST because resolution.

My point is games continue to increase in size

Article is misleading (the shock right? /s)
It's just their theory about what Microsoft MIGHT bring on 2019.

But man, these guys (the one's of the article) are STILL insisting on having No-Disc policy.... Broadband is not THAT broad nor cheap. And with more resolution, the games will become BIGGER not smaller.

I have a 200 Mbps connection but does not mean I enjoy downloading anything. Not even the updates!
