I still think it's early to say theirs a pattern of faulty consoles-both MS and Sony. Days after the PS4 release everyone was panicking over blue light blinking/failure, Foxconn sabatoging consoles etc. X1 has stories of failed disk drives, power brick and smoking consoles. There just isn't a huge amount of them in consumers hands yet, plus not a lot of time has passed to get a significant amount of hours on the average gamers machines.

I seen some X1s at my local Target, $479 if you have a "Redcard". You don't need a credit card, just your bank info, but be forewarned-Target just got hacked for CC info. Also, 3DS XLs are $149, no card or anything needed.
