EA play is such a coup for game pass.
Doesn’t dampen my anticipation for it at all. I personally never owned an Xbox one so will have loads of games on game pass to catch up on. I appreciate Xbox one owners probably aren’t in a hurry to upgrade yet though.
And others n4g users will now dismiss it as trash. Funny how much more a game is hyped simply because it’s exclusive.
Agreed, I think Microsoft envisaged publishers shipping cross gen games on a single disc. Shame because this is extremely confusing, especially with it having both consoles on both boxes!

There’s definitely more of a style to the PS5. However from an engineering point of view you could argue that the Xbox design is better, simply on the basis that it’s smaller and more powerful.
As you say though, the games are what ultimately matter.

Agreed, certainly a game before it’s time. Probably more of a ‘game’ than anything that they’ve done since.
Glad that most of the gameplay is in one world or another. As technically impressive as a simultaneous dual world is, I can also imagine it being quite jarring.
If you’ve got a missus at home who hogs the tv then this is the perfect solution.
We’ll see, people were saying that about the touchpad before the PS4 came out and it turned out to be little more than a glorified select button for most games.

All games won’t just instantly load now we have SSDs, even last gen ones. Do you think Red Dead 2 on PS5 will load instantly? There’s some graphically demanding last gen games out there.
Hmmm I’d argue that having nearly 200gb less storage with no upgrade options at launch is more of an issue.
But hey, this is n4g so let’s just ignore that.
