I personally always enjoyed that in the Hitman games, you could make the hits look like accidents.

"He fell...off of the balcony...without his cello. Y'know what? I dunno what happened."

I haven't exactly been following the case, but I believe this is just a case of 'paint the defendant as poorly as you can.' Whether she's an expert for the defense or the prosecution, they're going to use everything they can to paint him as a bad person. Even things that don't exactly paint him as a bad person, such as gaming. The prosecution will paint him as maladjusted and delusional, the defense will label him as clinically insane and therefore not criminally re...

Anyone that wants to keep you away from something you enjoy doing (provided it's not...like really harmful) makes you wonder if they actually care about you.

Really.

From one person to another, kudos - you were right to drop her.

Bu-bu-but! How will Nintendo sell more once the sales level off and everyone starts throwing around terms like "failing" and "doomed?"

Black shows fingerprints a little bit too well for my liking. If I can, I like my electronics white, or a light colour.

I thought that Downpour was excellent. There are people who get their panties in a bind because a game is not a duplicate of an older game with a few minor tweaks. And then there are people who appreciate the game for what it is. Downpour is better than Homecoming and the plot twist everyone saw coming a mile away.

For the first three Silent Hill games, survival horror was still fresh and new. We're getting to the point where it branches off between no-combat and guns...

The +18 female demographic of gamer 'is' growing exponentially. You don't think that all the girls that grew up with games suddenly dropped their favourite hobby once they turned 18, did you? How big of a demographic does the female gamer have to embody to warrant something targeted a little more towards them?

It might seem like BS and pointless to you because you're being catered to. You like seeing scantily clad women at booths. A lot of women don't,...

Trebius is right. There's porn on the internet.

...no.

If I want to sell something that I purchased legally to someone else, I should be allowed to do that. They should be allowed to buy what I'm selling, too - provided I'm not selling something illegal.

Used games are not a bane on capitalism - it's a facet of your buying power. If publishers want you to buy a new game, then they should offer you incentive to buy a new game, not punish you for buying a used game.

Just one really big arm I'm sure.

I actually thought the Revelation scene in Silent Hill 2 played second fiddle to the most emotional scene in that game. Although that silhouette of James carrying Mary through the hallway was pretty moving, I'd have to say that The Burning Staircase was far more heart-wrenching.

There's a hauntingly chirpy little tune playing there. I hope that's not part of the game lol

@ Jio

Activision capitalizes off of Remembrance Day. All of their Call of Duty games release very close to November 11. They used to release 'on' November 11.

In case you're wondering what that is, not every country celebrates Memorial Day on the same day as the US.

Semantics. Because the director didn't flat-out deny the fact that Claire and Jill would be there? I wouldn't call this a tease other than a thoughtful chess move.

They may not be included in the main campaign, but they may be included in DLC later on down the line. Or, since this is Capcom, at launch.

Some women do like to acknowledge their gender in their name. Sometimes it hurts when people automatically assume you're a dude.

Okay. Let's not call em sluts then.

Let's just call them slutty.

Come on now. If you're going to act slutty, be prepared to be called a slut. Women and girls who do that should know better.

I agree, the tank-like controls had a lot to do with the fear that you were going to die. But part of the reason that the classic survival horror games were so amazing was that no one had done what they were doing, right up to CV.

They weren't for the faint of heart, either. They were pretty challenging, whereas RE4 was more streamlined, tailored for a wider audience.

I don't think it's geared towards the casual market. All of the TV spots I've seen on it, which is usually where casuals 'would' see it, it's touting cross-play and virtual reality. Not exactly casual-gamer-grabbers.

I think an actual image of the product would have worked wonders with this review. If you're wondering what they actually look like:
