The article from kotaku that inspired those article was bad. Just blatant click bait. I can't imagine anyone who would have actually found what happened there to be mind blowing or even sexy. It was as stilted and stiff as they come.
... Wait a minute...
I don't understand. I watched through the whole thing. The animation wasn't on par with what I expected reading the description. The voice acting was whispery and a little seductive, but you can get that in your average porn flick.
Also, the guy...came a little fast, if that's what that animation was. Or was he just supposed to be shocked that she was giving him oral? Despite the fact that she indicated things were getting sexual the moment she climbed on top...
Ask Sega how well they did with this.
There's a big difference between letting little people who talk in gibberish die in an unrealistic simulator.
The article states that RapeLay goes the extra mile to make it seem realistic.
It's a tasteless kind of game.
To the article writer - there's a huge difference between being highly dominant and being a rapist. Making that comparison is insulting and ignorant.
The concept of this game is almost just as disturbing. There's a huge difference between shooting bad guys and raping people, even if it is in a video game.
RapeLay, as I see it, tasks you with stalking, molesting and assaulting your victims. You're the bad guy, and your crimes unfold slowly and a...
Gaming wasn't as big in the 80s as it is today. Custer's Revenge would have never made it in today's gaming market.
Ever.
I got about 80% of the trophies for Heavy Rain and just gave up. Some of the trophies require complete playthroughs of the game, which is incredibly tedious if you've already played through it.
And some of them you don't find out until you've completed the game if you need to play it again.
Capcom has actually come out and said that Resident Evil 5 was their best selling game of the series. So there's definitely something to be said for that.
Obligatory Half Life 3 comment.
Almost all of the first game's levels are available as DLC in the second game. DLC for PC is free, too. I'll take that.
Oh man, I love these articles. The gloating healthy eater comments will start rolling in. It's funny because it seems like they're almost trying to impress someone.
On a more serious note, it's almost painful to learn how ignorant some people are about their health. How many people die every day because they sit in front of a computer screen all day for umpteen years and let their health decay? How many people develop diabetes and other ill health affects be...
The only people that believe Dead Space 3 needs broader appeal are the people trying to make money from it.
Are you shitting me?
This was the game where I effectively learned how to string together long tangents of cursing.
The guy had cancer and had part of his jaw removed. He speaks now with the assistance of a robotic aid.
When your site depends on ad revenue, sometimes it's better to report rumours and then clarify afterwards. However, when all you do is report rumours, you tend to discredit your site. At least when I report rumours, I put it right in the headline that it's a rumour and offer a personal speculation, not pass off rumour as fact.
Some of the older games could be completed in 3, and they're considered masterpieces.
She became the woman she is (err, was?) because she got raped?
Will the game show sessions with a therapist and panic attacks?
It was pretty much common knowledge that TWD would be episodic content. Pretty sure that this was on the TTG site when the game first release too, and on Steam/PSN/Live
It's episodic, that's the way it works. I agree though that the delay between episodes is a bit too long.
Black shows fingerprints and smudges too easily.
