iRiver put the i infront of it, and apple already lost that law suit
journalism has been on a steady decline in all aspects for many many years. But it is all forms of information media. Broadcasting has gone down hill aswell. And I think it is something that the media needs to look into and see what is going on.
I mean come on, even this last generation of broadcasters, (Rather, Brokaw (however you spell it), and who ever else you want to throw onto this list), while good, were no way in the same league as Cronkite or Murrow. it has been a ...
i have looked for PS3 specs, and i find the information that everyone saw from E3 2005, that was May of 2005. those are not the official specs of what the PS3 is going to have. like i said, there are no OFFICIAL techinical specs that have been released for the PS3 as it will be released on November 17th
what was the point of your poker analogy????
a Jack, 10 off suit, still sets up for a good pair, a great 2 pair, and still a shot at the high straight. cause you never know what is going to come out
this happens all the time. IBM alone was hit with 36 cases involving patent infringement in 2005. all of them were determined to not be true. and infact, several of those patents were revoked as it was determined that they were inproperly filed. This happends to every tech company ever year (even Microsoft). the only reason this is news is because sony did loss the imersion case
i'm not saying wether i am either way or what console, you should buy. I already have a 360, and i will get a PS3 (just don't know if it will be a launch).
but what spec. sheets can you read. i mean, come on, if you are going to made a statement atleast be able to back it up, there is no official spec. sheet for the PS3, so you are right, it is quite easy to make your conclusion if you compare a non-existant spec. sheet, to one of a console already on the market.
my apologies, i had forgotten that full production was moved away from the IBM semiconductor research and development center.
and were moved under Tom Reeves who assumed production management of semiconductors late last year
he is the VP in question, being labeled as VP of Semiconductor and Technology Services.
My apologies for this oversite on my part, but my point still remains
the original source of this article keeps refering to the fact that it was one of the Semiconductor VP's. There is only one VP over Semiconductor Reseach and Development. That is Lisa Su.
i wish they would quite refering to her as a group of people and back up their fabrications before passing them off as news
I'm not saying that production numbers are were they ought to be, and i'm not saying that everything is going to be fine for the PS3, all i am saying is tha...
so why didn't they just say the name of the VP then. It's not like their or a group of the. All of the rest at the center do not carry the title of VP.
Lisa Su - vice president of the IBM semiconductor research and development center
so either she said it, inwhich case, i'm sure she will get into trouble for her statement. or someone is just making a claim that is unfounded and they just decided to pick a title to say that person said it.
if they wou...
so you are saying that it lasts long past it's warranty, is a smooth ride, with few problems, and is one of the key components to the failure of the US market in this industry???? nice to know that LandOfSand is a huge PS3 fan
yes because having multiple sources reporting the same news does nothing /end sarcasm.
all it does is add support for the statements, i like the fact that multiple sources are reporting it, that is a positive and give is more validity.
this article says that, it specifically says that sony rejected the method when it wouldn't support 40 titles, and so this would mean that problem has been fixed.
Please read the article before you post
Wow, that is amazing, they are claiming that it will work for every game. awesome
so you do alot of reading and all, and i just have a quick question cause you said something that just doesn't seem right to me. "Now HD dvd on the other hand. You can buy hd dvd movies and play them in your regular dvd player untill you decide to get a 1080p tv and an hd dvd player. Its a much easier transition for the Walmart generation than blu ray."
I was under the impression that current dvd players could not play hd-dvd's, hence why hd-dvd players are needed. ...
I live in central Oklahoma, and my rent is about the same as a PS3, so how cheap is it to live in Japan?????
Do what??? would people quit saying the hd-dvd's are a few bucks cheaper than Blu-ray, please go to amazon.com and type in hd-dvd and then type in blu-ray. Just by looking at this site, it looks to me like they will be pretty close to the same price, if blu-ray actually isn't even alittle cheaper, with more of their movies being at 19.99.
sorry, didn't know that actually, good to know, i hadn't checked walmart or target or any of those yet for hd-dvd prices
i was only going by online which shows most bd-dvd at 19.99 and most hd-dvd at 24.99. maybe this means that bd-dvd will be like 17.99 at walmart, that would be awesome
except that hd-dvd's are on average going to cost $5.50-7 more than a bd-dvd
so if this is true. then you are talking about a powerful and yet cheap workstation for Mac OSX offices.
This is quite an interesting thought. Guess the same could be said for windows offices, just i happen to do ordering for an office that uses only Mac OSX and at the price tag of $600, that is a damn good deal if the circulating specs are correct. i can't wait to see
it didn't say for all special feature content, just some. i expect this is much the same way that some dvd's offer dvd-rom features on their disc, i would look at it as this is just replacing that feature
