Leave it to TheMart to talk about what he doesn't know. I have a 26inch lcd in my game room, and a 32inch lcd in my den. and there was quite a difference on both of them when i changed my cables from component to hdmi for my hdtv.
so please do not tell me that there isn't a difference because it was quite noticable
please don't turn this into a a windows v. Linux war. cause all this will do is make you look like someone who has excepted the information taught to you since the release onf WIN98, cause if you want to talk about a company that has overpromised and underdelivered, it is MS and their windows products. I remember the exact date that they said WIN98 would be USB Compatiable (about a year before release, and 2 and a half years before it was)
windows works for those of you who us...
okay, i don't know why it posted that twice
the idea of the ps4 was only breifly mentioned in this article, did no one read the whole thing?
most of the article talkes about the lack of announcement of the ps3 production, possible shortages, why there will not be a blu-ray-less ps3, and why sony wasn't worried about trying to be the first in the market

probably because the question was not asked
It only took 3 comments before some xboxstitute to make a stupid comment involving the article
first of all, since i deal with software development everyday, it is not cheap to port anything.
second of all, as for easy, yes, you can probably get it running on the 360 quickly. however, making it playable via a controller when it is designed for a keyboard and mouse, you are talking about having to create an ingame driver converter, and that is by no means and easy task
it's amazing to me how 360 fans say that it will just come out later for 360 and that is why there is no logo for it on the AC website. but they say that there is no chance that elveon will come out on PS3 because the logo does not appear on their website.
it just cracks me up that they use the same logic to prove everything is pro 360 and con ps3
it wasn't an attempt to show off my wits (unlike you attempts). Most people do not know and/or understand the difference between an internet and the Internet. I was pointing those differences out.
amazing how the person i responded to has no problem with what i did. and if they did, i would apologize. you on the otherhand call me a dipsh!t and an a-hole (which shows your lack of tact) and then proceed to attack me personally
the difference between amazing and ...
you are right, i should not of corrected his original spelling of grammar, because i did misspell it.
however, spelling and grammar are two seperate and unrelated items.
grammar is "The study of structural relationships in language or in a language, sometimes including pronunciation, meaning, and linguistic history." (taken word for word from a dictionary)
grammar is the use of a word, not the spelling. he unknowingly misused internet...
no. it is not possible. but a good question, and something most people to get confused on because they will go back and make statements like, "well my 386 that i used to have had a speed boost button". all that the speed boost button did was turn on a limitor that was built into the system bios. when the speed boost was turned off, the computer processor's max limits were decreased, and so when the speed boost was turned on, then it appeared to be faster.
the hard...
no, it isn't possible. there has to be some sort of backbone. even if it is all done wirelessly, or via satellite. that would then be your backbone. you would have to have wireless access points and repeaters that could support that kind of traffic and or the cost of production of a satallite system or something. the backbone is not just a line of wires, it is everything that is behind the scenes from the end users. and the cost of development and implementation of any new system would ...
you mean might not use the Internet (with a capital 'i") it will have to use an internet unless they plan to not have any connection between any countries and so all servers will be specifially and geographically isolated. Internet2 is one of many projects in an atempt to eventually replace the current Internet. and you are right, 10 years from now, who knows what will be the newest tech, but the cost will again be in the trillions because an entire backbone and establishment process w...
The Servers themselves (unless you have so many that you start to kill yourself in bandwidth usage) can not handle that many requests of that size. so the only method for using current Internet Backbone technology would be to do Server Broadcasting.
however this means it would be free to anyone who can recieve the broadcast. this means that a secure broadcast would be necessary. that requires broadcast subscription, on fly encription scheme methods, packet retrieval verifica...
unless game distribution is in the 10's of Billions of dollars, then it will take way too long for cost recovery to take place.
and that is for a single user through the network. I work everyday with Internet2, and it is a Gbit setup and it could not support the requests for GB's of information simultaneously for the thousands of servers that would be required for this world wide. yes, it might only take an hour if you are the only person downloading, but there will be hunderds downloading on release day from every server. and that isn't including the thousands of people who will have to be waiting for hours if not...
There is no way that e-distribution can work even using the newest tech involved with Internet2 (and trust me, i work with I2 every day). you are talking about millions of people wanting to download gb's of information over cable and dsl modems??? there is absolutly no way. everyone will try and download at once, and so unless they plan on having a couple hundred thousand dedicated servers, it won't work. it would tie up every major router for days as a time when new titles were released....
even better idea, why not try getting off of a bandwagon for a bit and think for yourself.
why support any group of fanboys, for any console, that is very narrow minded. all of the consoles need each other to provide legit competition and drive the gaming industry
I happen to have a 40 LCD in my living room and a 32 LCD in my bedroom, both of which have HDMI, and you are right, they aren't in the same room, so i guess that it is impossible for me to carry it into my living room when i have friends over playing. common on, i just got out of college 3 years ago and there were so many times when me and my friend would bring our tv's and xboxs over and play Halo, and my gosh, we had so many more times after Halo 2 came out. This is a cool idea, cause for...
