Forgot to mention... If Microsoft wants to market this "includes HDMI port" garbage (even though the PS3 also has one, and the Elite no longer ships with HDMI cables), then Sony should market FREE ONLINE GAMING.
Ok, do you want to know why it shows MS is afraid? It's very simple. MS always acts based upon Sony's state in the industry. Here's a history lesson for you. Sony's only desperate price drop was their first one. The PS3 was WAY too expensive at launch (I bought one, a game, and guarantees on both and it cost me just shy of $970 CDN), and the only way to drop the price was to lower the cost of manufacturing it, which could only be accomplished through removing some features. Consumers DEMANDED...
Noooooo. Get out. You can't be serious.
Something you pay for can't possibly have problems. After all, you pay for it. That makes it superior to something free right?
/sarcasm
"connect for Free" but no mention of the inherent costs of Live to do all the things they mentioned in that add. nice avoidance microsoft. sure, it'll attract people, but they will turn their 360's on, try to use a feature, and then the world will hear collective "WTF?!!!", deafening everyone.
When you bring up cross game chat, you are talking about Live.
It isn't needed, Cross Game chat is a luxury. And you see, only 360 fanbots resort to insults and jabs when Live is criticized, so congrats on showing your fanboyism. Pardon me for not wanting to pay money for useless features like cross game chat. Why would I want to hear someone talk about how drunk they got last night instead of focusing on the game? 'cause 9 times out of 10, people aren't chatting about the game. ...
Oh yeah, as opposed to paying good money for downtime, updates that render your console useless for sometimes weeks, and the oh-so cultured and intelligent Xbox Live community. Why, with all that, why wouldn't we want to pay for it? /sarcasm
Should we really care? There's so much B.S. coming out of SE that you could say that FFXIII was 8-Bit and you'd have a 50/50 chance of being correct.
I'm so tired with SE. Why can't they just get the damn game out already?
If people are only buying VC games, then it shows that people love the classics more than Nintendo's new casual crap, which they (Nintendo) obviously wouldn't be too happy about.
By cutting support for the VC and focusing on WiiWare, they can force people to play their casual crap and there's nothing anyone could do about it. Think BC and the PS3.
That said, it would be stupid for them to do this. Core gamers love VC because it takes them back to the good ol' days of...
I won't be getting this game since I'm not a huge fan of the genre, but if I had to choose, I'd choose neither option. I would have chosen to have the FULL game that it was supposed to be, but can't because of Microsoft's moronic business decisions and price gouging. But that's just me.
Have fun with the 2 maps spread across 2 discs. Who cares about framerates when the game is lacking in content?
Look at all the 360 "enthusiasts" as Montrealien would say. Salivating at the mouth are you? Pleased with yourselves? And what exactly do you gain from Sony's loss? You do understand don't you that multiple companies across the world are posting losses in a global recession?
Oh, but it's easy to blame the PS3 as being arrogant and blah blah blah.
So let me ask all of you rabid 360 "enthusiasts" this. If Sony pulled out, do you actually think it wo...
We could use the magical new technology known as the screwdriver, open it up, and see with our own eyes. *gasp*
I completely agree. And WRPG's are responsible for taking what wasn't broken (but was admittedly growing stale) like the traditional RPG (JRPG) and bombarding it with FPS/TPS style of gameplay. That's why I don't consider Mass Effect an RPG. I'm sure I'll get millions of disagrees, but there's no way that you'll be able to convince me that a game that is essentially a squad based shooter with a convoluted conversation system is an RPG. No frickin' way.
On another topic, RPG's (ye...
The difference between Best Buy and Microsoft is that Microsoft actually approaches people with these "incentives" whereas Best Buy gets you to come to them just by putting out blanket advertising.
You do understand that Microsoft didn't create Windows right?
If it wasn't for Atari, Nintendo wouldn't be in gaming. And if it wasn't for Magnavox, NO ONE would be in gaming. The first home console ever made was made by Magnavox.
I wonder if Nintendo still owns any "love hotels", and if they are as "casual" as the Wii. lol.
They are nuts afterall.
Here are some logical facts for you. The PS3 cost $850 to make out of the gate. Sony was well within their rights to charge at least that much for the console, but didn't, choosing to take a $150 per console loss right from the get go. Choosing to blame Sony for the price is akin to choosing to blame them for attempting to progress all aspects of gaming instead of just one (i.e. the 360 only tries to progress the online aspect of games, the Wii makes a flawed attempt at increasing immersion)....
here, this will put an end to it...
the 360 can run any game the ps3 can, but likely at a (sometimes large) loss somewhere. techincally, you are both correct.
Your posts reek of fanboy, so kindly take that "by acknowledging a consoles' faults" crap off your posts. The quality of a game, yes even multiplats, is directly proportional to the work put into its development. If a game looks better on the 360 than on the PS3, it is NOT the PS3's fault, it is the DEVELOPERS fault. Period.
That's some funny sh*t right there. Bubbles for both of you.
