No one, it doesn't need to be saved and I really wish people would stop saying it does. This isn't 2006, early 2007 anymore.

You've just proven you don't have a PS3 by saying you're looking for games. Seriously.

The point is that there is a big difference between minor annoyances and actual problems.

If you're talking about the 360, don't bother. Level 5 is NEVER going to work with Microsoft after they canceled a game that was nearly complete.

Arised from complaints of lack of features, not of functionality. PSN worked just fine on release, with no bugs or major issues. It was people, probably like you, who whined about PSN not being like Live that made Sony make changes. Afterwards, they didn't want the same thing to happen with Home so they decided to do whatever it took, including lengthy delays, to make sure Home was what was promised.

RE:- Demos: I personally don't see it as a problem. You could stay in the download section and have it DL faster and install automatically, or you can queue it up and go play your game and install when you're done. It only takes a few min, but I can see how some people may be annoyed with it even though it's not really a big deal.

RE:- Updates: The point of having every firmware version is to identify specific problems if they need to be fixed, as well as give users the ability t...

Microsoft introduces the "Release first, patch later" mentality to the industry, and it's SONY'S fault that they want to release a feature that actually works on release, instead of having it be buggy as all hell and needing multiple patches, which would then see every single whiner in existence coming on to this site and sites like it complaining about how "broken" Home is and at how Sony released an "unfinished" product.

Microsoft can do it (i.e. t...

This is an argument of advertisement hype vs. actual reception.

SE, though really stupid lately, are operating under the idea that the expectations built by hype always crush a game in the end. And it's the truth.

The sad fact is that advertising a game through gameplay videos and trailers is a double-edged sword. You get the game out there to generate interest, but if what you show doesn't live up to expectations when the game actually comes out, you get hammered in...

You need to understand a few things. First, every time the PS3 updates, it has EVERY previous firmware version's features in the new update. That prevents problems from arising, and should they arise makes it quicker to fix. That's why they take so long.

Second, there is a way to download and automatically install a game. The only time you have to manually install the game is if you have it in the download queue. Then when it finishes you have to install it. However, if you stay ...

To suggest any stupidity, because I don't know what the two of you understand or don't, but did it occur to you that he wasn't talking about "joy" in the literal sense and merely talking about his presence on N4G since his name is an acronym for JOY?

I agree that costs are higher, but if you're going to go multi then don't be half-assed about it and offer exclusives to any console.

I disagree because the economy has had little effect on the gaming industry. There are reports to that effect everywhere.

I'm getting disagrees for seeing a commercial. Gotta love N4G's way of doing things.

If they're willing to keep a man like Wada at the helm, they deserve all the profit loss, and all the bad reviews their games have been getting recently.

Seriously, they're no longer Square, they're no longer Enix, they're EA Japan along with Crapcom.

Yesterday I saw a commercial advertising PSN. It had Home in it. I guess it's coming really soon if Sony are advertising it on tv.

6265d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Off topic but, has anyone else seen the blitz of PS3 and PSP commercials recently?

Yesterday I couldn't change the channel without seeing a LBP, or a MGS4, or a PSP commercial somewhere.

Better late than never I suppose.

Rogue Galaxy was awesome.

Would be AWESOME!!! But, Level 5 is a third party dev, and they're responsible for the Dark Cloud series, so I wouldn't get my hopes up. At least we know that they won't develop for the 360.

M$ is so stupid.

Bring on DC3 and Suikoden 6. Also, I want a new Shadow Hearts game.

M$ did everything right? LMFAO!!! The RROD, accessory gouging, non-standard HDD's, and disc royalty fees say hi.

You know, even with someone so well known in the tech world, nothing will come of this. The 360 fanboys will still argue games over manufacturing, showing Microsoft that they can shove any kind of sh1t down their installed bases throat and get away with it, meaning that there is no incentive for them to improve their product in the future.

And the funny part is that these same fanboys will say to PS3 fans "At least we have games to play".....WHEN?!!!

Is it ...

@Xander: Ummm, I don't know if you know this, but all of those games are unproven IP's. You can't claim them as being good because they aren't out yet. Also, I don't know about your comprehension or anything, but the Wii WAS selling more than any other console. You see, this article is meant to show that the Wii consoles sales numbers are dropping radically, far worse than even the PS3. And finally, Nintendo has changed A LOT. They went from a family friendly company that still remembered who...
